After hitting a deer my insurance company sent me to Fix it Auto. This was my first insurance claim so I had no idea what to expect. From the rental process to the repairs on my vehicle these guys were helpful and kind to deal with. It took better than a month to complete due to waiting on parts once the parts were in they worked hard to get my car back to me. There were a couple of minor things that needed tweaking and they quickly got me back in and back on the road in less than 20 mins. I am so grateful that I got sent to these guys they were honest and professional. All the horror stories of after an accident and your car never works right have been laid to rest, I can turn my radio on and stop listening for unfamiliar sounds as there is nothing but the hum of the engine and howl of tires to be heard. My car not only looks great it works great and it does what I need it to do. Thank you Kevin, Kimberly and Team.

Fix Auto literally moved hell and high water to get my car fixed on a late Friday afternoon and I can’t thank them enough.I was travelling from Halifax to Sydney with my newborn daughter, partner and friendS. We noticed cars started beeping at us so we rolled down our window only to find out our right rear tire was wobbling and looked like it was about to fall off. We slowly made our way to Fix Auto at 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon and even though there were cars in the shop, the mechanic and staff took our car in and found the wheel spacer was mangled. They tightened and retorqued our tires, checked our tire pressure, and took it for a test drive. In the mean time, it wasn’t looking fixable before the mechanic found the root issue, and the woman at the desk (seriously god love her) was effortlessly making phone calls explaining our situation [travelling to Sydney to attend a close relatives funeral] to other local mechanics and enterprise, whom both offered their support and discounted rates if needed. Luckily we didn’t need other services and our car was fixed! We arrived safely in Cape Breton and I was able to attend my father’s funeral.I cannot thank the friendly, empathetic staff enough for their generosity and help today. I wish there were more people out there like the staff at Fix Auto and community members in Pictou County. Will always recommend these folks if anyone needs car help in Pictou County!

They fixed my car after an accident and then when I had an issue right after (unrelated to the accident), they went above and beyond to get it fixed the same day. So grateful.

I Wouldn't Take A Newer Vehicle HereWe took our 7 year old Honda civic here to have some light damage corrected. Overall. The job turned out. OK". There are 4 dents that they somehow missed (but yet painted over them) and 1 flaw in the paint (which isn't bad considering the work that CarStar in Elmsdale puts out). There is a small rust spot on a fender that they had to refinish due to the damage. It would have taken them under and hour to correct this while it was in for repair. But they painted over it and now it looks worse than before. Little bit of sanding and fill was all it needed. It was about the size of a quarter. They had the car almost 3 weeks but couldn't fix this little spot? They put a scratch on our navigation screen almost the entire length horizontally at the bottom (either they did or the place that replaced the sunroof and windshield). How they managed that is beyond me. But whoever did it had to of known it happened. It would be nice for once if someone somewhere admitted to something like this. There are also a few other scratches on the rear bumper that were not there when the car was dropped off. From now on. I will be sure and make a detailed video of the condition of any vehicle I own and take to any shop before dropping it off as it seems most places nowadays don't care. It also appears that this place soaks the insurance companies. If you have an older car. I'm sure it would be fine to take it here. The paint color matched up fairly well. The gloss and peel match pretty good too. I'd rate FixAuto better than CarStar. From experience. But. I wouldn't take my 17 or 19 Ram 1500 to either place. I'll try and get some pics this week to post up to stand behind my review."

Took out there insurance and it still cost me for a chip on the windshield was not happy

Took my car here for a repair in 2020 they used aftermarket parts and didn't match the headlights so I have a different headlight than the other so the blinker lights are different shades of orange and the paint job looks cheap compared to the door!Got hit recently, Called them again just too give them the benefit of the doubt as the owner or manager Kevin is very friendly.. So I left ifor a quote and left them the car overnight! from 8-4 today the car was in their possession i called to see if my quote was ready or car could be picked up and they said they didn't even look at it I'm so beyond disappointed! now I am walking from my job to pick the car up for absolutely no reason they didn't even call to say they are overbooked and couldn't do the quote.Keep in mind I stopped by 2 other shops for 20 minutes TOPS and they had quotes back to me by this morningWill Upload the headlights once I have the car backVery disappointed I had to make this reveiw

Haven't got my finished repair, yet, but so far, so good
