The Salvation Army Thrift Store
Came at 6pm, their posted hours show that they’re open until 8pm. The doors were locked. I could see staff inside and they could see me but no one came to the door. I called asking why they were not open and they said they had to close early due to staffing shortage. That is not the employees fault but the store needs to be managed better since ppl travel far and rely on posted hours to plan their day.

Thanks so much to Teresa for her helpful and kind service. I visited your store to buy a radio. The radio is for a Senior Dog named Missy, our youngest daughter's dog. She means the world to us and we visit her and spend time everyday while our daughter works. I am a Senior too and I don't know how to use a TV (lol) anymore... but I thought having a radio playing might keep her company.Teresa helped me with the radios and also gave me a discount. She also is a dog (animal) lover and was happy to help with this little effort.I know my mom used to love to listen to radio and I am sure Missy will too.ThanksL Wiebe( I also bought myself an really swell bracelet !!!)

everything about this place is beyond amazing if your looking at picking up stuff for your new or old apartment and the prices are always reasonable and it makes me mad when i hear all the bad things about the owners of these places

It's a nice diversion from the usual and you can see thieves in action too. Anytime

The staff and consistently awesome book selection make this one of my favourite thrifts stores in the city. The customer service really goes above and beyond - ive more than once seen staff offer to carry furniture home for customers that couldn't manage it!

This is a diamond in the rough, thrift store. I try to make a stop, at least once a week. There's always a welcome" from somewhere in the store

Wow, shout out to the amazing staff here. Just watched the staff treat someone who wasn't doing well with the utmost respect and humanity, helping them find warm clothing and telling them they've got to make sure they stay warm. It looked to me that the clerk was going to provide them with a top, bottom, and warm sweater at no cost and was helping them try things on and find things that would look good and be functional in the store. Humanity exists and this staff deserves a raise.

Not a welcoming place. The employees I dealt with were discriminatory and racist. It was an old white woman and an LGBTQ person who made my experience horrible. I had a very unpleasant time there. I would not recommend going to this location. I was only attempting to browse when I was discriminated against by both of these employees. The owner should seriously rethink who they hire. DO NOT go here if you're a person of colour.
