Great experience with Walter always go above and beyond of our needs. He assisted us on two home purchases as well other legal matters related with employment and general contract matter. legal is expensive but for long term client he has been always charge reasonable , communicate the cost clear so there won’t be any dispute.

Used them for our mortgage, as we were first time homebuyers. I contacted them over a month before our closing date to request an appointment, they didn't see us until the night before our closing day. They didn't file the documents through the online portal and only faxed them to our mortgage lender at 1pm on a Friday and called us at 3:30 to tell us we wouldn't be getting the keys and tried to blame the lender. Our mortgage broker called the lender and got it sorted out so I went to the office and sat there trying to get my keys even though it was after 5pm. After sitting there for an hour we were told we would not be getting the keys until Monday. We had stuff loaded in the car and had planned to do renos over the weekend; thankfully we hadn't booked movers for that day. We finally got the keys, there was no apology from the firm and no responsibility was taken by them whatsoever. The whole process of buying the house was completely stress free until the closing. To be fair, dealing with Richard himself was fine, but we were told that the person who usually files the documents was on vacation and I suspect one of the 2 coop students who were there did it and obviously no one checked what they were doing. The lawyers need to ensure their staff and assistants are capable of doing the job properly and in our case, clearly they did not. By not closing on time and not getting our keys caused massive headaches, inconvenience and delays in renos that snowballed into bigger problems that could have been avoided had they just done things right. Highly disappointed and will be going elsewhere next time.
