Disgusting company. Rented a van from Discount Car Rental now New Horizons Car Rental. . Charged my credit card for damages that I did not do, Would not return any of my calls. Next thing I knew I am dealing with Central Credit. They were harassing me for payment. Then they sent me phony court documents saying they were taking me to Small Claims Court.

Actually wild how they treat you when you call in telling them you want to give them money. The lady would not let me speak or let me send them money. I guess I will have to figure this out another way.

Anyone who has been a victim of this company please contact me. I have personally lived with the debt against me for years. No one has been able to help me but now I am going to try to help myself. hopefully The ministry of consumer affairs - consumer protection will be able to shut this company down. I know first hand what it is like to be railroaded by the company specifically Ms. asselin. It is shocking beyond belief. As per the collection act of Ontario there are very specific rules and regulations in place for a company such as this and to my surprise it seems based on all the complaints I have read thus far. They are neglecting a lot of steps making their claims unlawful.

by no means rude on the phone, i asked about how the system works once my bill has been paid for an ambulance that picked my husband up for an allergy attack. it didnt need to be a big deal but the people who operate the phones. literally every. single. employee was incredibly aggressive and mean. im sorry i get confused. im sorry i need to communicate in a more basic way. some people arent the same as you and it is not intentional to cause you frustration but you made it impossible to communicate with any of the you over a basic tiny bill and reduced me to complete tears for no reason. Thank guys! :)you talked over me, i was speaking very calmly and even then you have to transfer me without listening to anything i say. i just had a basic question and was treated in a completely nasty way.

A lady who claims to be a receptionist is very very rude, they do not comply with the Ontario privacy laws. They gave out the clients information with out clarifying.Avoid them at all costs

I really wish I could give this place 000000 stars. I called to discuss a debt that does not belong to me. Central Credit had put the wrong debt on my Equifax. When I called Equifax, the girl told me that if I called Central Credit that I would potentially be able to get the process going faster, but the girl at the front desk hung up on me when I was trying to explain the situation. She kept trying to cut me off and raised her voice until I finally said “Thank you for cutting me off, I wasn’t done talking” and then she hung up. HORRIBLE customer service, this place should really think about who they hire considering the people calling are probably not gonna be in best moods because let’s face it, no one likes having debt. Very unimpressed with the customer service

Central Credit Control actively discriminates via verbal abuse against those who have little money. I have been verbally abused by Ms.Asselin on multiple occasions in trying to settle my debt. Comments like Your poor me routine doesn't work here

I wish I could give 0 stars, they don't even deserve 1. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, I was offered a settlement amount which was magically taken away after I have been calling to get the credit report they have on file just so I could look it over. When I was offered the settlement amount I tried to call the agent back the same day and left a message and have never heard back from the same agent. I have also left numerous voicemails with the agency and have never heard back. Every single person I have spoken to has been horrible to speak with and I have been hung up on when explaining my case and they also talk over you instead of letting you respond. We are filing a consumer report and are seeking legal action against them. I never knew about this owing amount until last week because they failed to actually contact me, through any other avenue then sending mail to an address I no longer live at and calling a number that has been disconnected since 2016. I am not one to ever leave bad reviews, but I am absolutely disgusted by this experience.

Terrible service. Called to get payment information sent via email so I can PAY THE ACCOUNT IN FULL. But was given a nonchalant attitude in regards to being able to so. Being told “I don’t know when anyone is in the office, they work in rotation” is oxymoronic at best. If they work in rotation I’m sure it wouldn’t take that much effort to find out when. Furthermore as a debt collection agency who consistently calls people.. would you not want to settle accounts asap? Disgusting attitude and would give less than 1 star if I could. Hate having to deal with them but it’s a must as this is effecting my credit.
