Big Bear Tools

I have made several purchases from Big Bear Tools before and was previously impressed with the quick service. But, I recently purchased a product that is new to the manufacturer. It turns out the first few turned out to be lemons. I contacted Dave at BBT and he was most helpful. I sent in pictures of my issue and he contacted the manufacturer, got the warranty claim approved and had the item shipped to me. I live 200 miles from BBT and I first contacted him midday thursday by email. Sent him the pictures he requested on thursday. He contacted the swedish manufacturer, had it approved on sunday and I got my delivery on tuesday midday. Considering this was a $400 purchase I was most relieved. I think Big Bear Tools is great!

So, having been an online shopper for (more than) a few years, I am fairly experienced in the good, the bad, and the ugly, of sending my electronic money out into the wild blue yonder, and waiting (sometimes forever) for my order to arrive.Blown away, today, by the order I sent in YESTERDAY, arriving at my door this evening . So upset! I haven't even had time to craft an excuse to my wife as to why I have purchased another knife!Hopefully, she loves it, too, as it is an adorable (and highly effective!) Hultafors OK4... Great, my item was more affordable here then elsewhere, got answers to my requests via email in a quick manner, my item shipped to me in 2 days via puralator, got my tracking number right after check out! Can't say enough good things. They have a large selection of high quality landscaping hand tools that I can't find anywhere else.

Everyone at this shop is so friendly helpful and professional. I was looking at some silky saws. Some of the info between US sites and Canadian sites had some differences and did not specify if the blades had the XL teeth. Both the owner Dave and the employee I spoke to got me the information in a very fast friendly manner and despite several phone calls were not bothered by my multitude of questions.Would recommend anyone to shop for anything they carry. 5 star service all around. Thanks for the great experience! Forget amazon and deal first hand with shops like this.

Very poor service I called to order a diamond stone on June 24, 2020 and some honing oil for my T-8 wet grinder. I was told to buy it on line. Really a customer calls to order $300.00 worth of products and you tell me to order on line. I looked on line did a search for THE product numbers and couldn't find them. So sorry I'll order somewhere else and WILL NEVER recommend your BIG BEAR TOOLS to anyone.Have a nice life I hope you go broke! Im also going to send an email to Tormeck in Europe.DC

Great Canadian store, they don't carry everything but what they do carry is good quality, purchased a knife from here and had it here in my hands in a day or two. Always appreciate the fact that I can send them a quick facebook message or a phone call and they always take the time to give you answers. Best part is that the prices are very fair/cheap. would highly recommend buying from here when possible.
