Sometimes the lineup to pay can be quite long/slow, but the wait is worth it! The drinks are delicious. However, note that some drinks can't have their sugar levels modified. This location is clean and has a nice view for people watching.

I know, I know, another bubble tea chain, why 5 stars - hear me out! I think they got something with their deerioca series, I think it is pretty unique and makes them stand out. I loved their Ube and I like their quirky variations and it is definitely worth a shot if you are experiencing bubble tea chain fatigue from your usuals like Yi Fang, Sip tea and what not. This store has a nice vibe, it’s right next to the Ottawa sign and the US embassy’s near ByWard Market. Hours are a little wonky and they open late so definitely check the hours before you decide to visit. A few good seating if you want to work from here and I haven’t seen it be overcrowded.

Very nice vibe and tasty drinks. I got a crunchy tiramisu milk tea and it was amazing! The only thing was that it took a long time to get my order which I think was because they were short staffed, as there was only one person making all the drinks. Overall 100% recommended!

It was quite busy, however, it did not take that long to get my bubble tea. The drink was visually different from when I’ve ordered before, but tastewise it was the same so no complaints here. They also have some “The Alley” merchandise for sale (e.g. pins, cups) if that’s your cup of tea

I ordered takeout through uber eats. First of all, they forgot to include straws with the both the bubble teas. How is one supposed to have a pearl milk tea without those wide straws????Literally pulled out a spoon to have the drink and looks like there are clumps of sugar at the bottom of the drink, it tasted grainy & absolutely disgusting. Alley’s quality of their drinks & service have deteriorated significantly and I am never ordering from here again!!!

I was so excited when I saw this store here in Ottawa, I was a regular in Beijing (China). Even more when I saw the menu (photo below) , we could add toppings, so I chose three... Only to be faced with the reality that no topping could be added to any strawberry drink I asked for.I asked a drink with strawberry and cheese, the answer was we don't have it"
