Ontario Works

I obviously was here due to an appt or something of the nature. The building itself is fairly clean and well taken care off. The staff here are friendly (mostly... lol)Overall, a fairly painless place to attend but would rather not....

Staff are nice and very helpful

Was told ow would help me until my maternity leave kicked in and sure they helped me with rent and stuff but also told me they would help me with baby supplies but want me to prove my pregnancy why would I be taking maternity leave if I wasn't pregnant this kind of act is very disrespectful to new moms what if you were in there shoes and they told you they don't believe your child exists think before hurting moms

yes ontario works is a great program that is there to help people that don't have employment but what bothers me is the people that abuse the system and seem to get away with it I know of a woman that has been on it her entire life ever since she turned 18 and now she is almost forty since when did the program become a replacement for a job there is no reason for her not to work but yet ontario works doesn't make her get a job not only that but she a boyfriend that has been living with her for years who has a full time job but she doesn't disclose this to the government and now her son turns 18 and he gets on the system you are not helping these people you are hindering them letting the believe that it is okay to not work and just collect money that us hard working tax payers are supplying now I'm not saying people shouldn't go on the system I get times are hard and sometimes you need some extra help but when you have never had a job in your entire life you are not using it to get some help you are abusing it just so you don't have to get a job the government really has to look at cases like this otherwise this is going to ruin the program for the real people that need it

Everything went the way it was supposed to. I have a new worker, she was very helpful and did more then she had to. It was nice to deal with her

She closed my account for no reason and it's stressing me out I just need a little help I didn't get help from my parents, I'm just getting the same stress that my parents gave me, I understand why London is horrible with homeless, it's stressful to the core.

I made a call here today and the receptionist that had answered the phone was just completely ignorant. Had a bad attitude on the phone and this was literally 7 minutes after they opened. What kind of company that is supposed to help people answer the phone with such rudeness and disrespect? She pretty much yelled at me. I was confirming if I was calling the right place and she's like. Yes, that's been our name for over a year now. Total rudeness I am so glad that I do not need their assistance. If you hate your job that much then find a new one

My worker is amazing. Really goes above and beyond to help me back on my feet and back to working again. Including helping with education funding, and counselling for mental health and pointing me in the right direction for dental treatment.
