This is a tiny burger shop right on the highway. It can get busy on a Friday or Saturday night. But that's only cause the locals know it's worth the wait.Food is delicious, portions are generous, and choices are exactly as the name would imply. With local take-home ice cream and frozen meal options to boot, this place is a great spot to grab a bite on the go.The online fb portal is easy to manage and helpful during busy times when you don't care of you dine in.

Amazing food - the portions were huge and the burger and chicken sandwich were both incredible. Probably worth the drive from Michigan alone.

Expected more based on posted reviews. Hamburger was greasier than I like, smashed" means burger is flattened more of a gimmick than actually enhancing any flavour there might have been. Still doubt the authenticity of the "home fries". Being able to hear the staff talking from the kitchen certainly looses whatever atmosphere there may have been. Certainly not a place I will return to."

This was my first visit to The Burger Guru, and only for take out, but I'll be back for ear-in soon!Living north of any major cities means I don't get to enjoy food this good very often.My chicken sandwich was huge (almost double the bun), crunchy as hell and so flavourful and juicy. My wife's gruyere and mushroom burger was similarly sized and also epic. The shoestring fries are the perfect cross section between McDonald's, chip truck, and NYFries-not to be missed.If you're passing through Flesherton, or you're down to travel for great food, put this place in the GPS.They also have a freezer with take-home heat and eat meals like Butter Chicken and Meatloaf. Oh, and local ice cream, also to go.

Excellent burger spot, great smashed burgers (not too thin, not too thick), fresh ingredients, nice soft bun. Their variation on onion rings are weird looking, but delicious. I would definitely eat there again.

Just stopped by for some fresh cut fries to go.The two ladies at the front are wonderful and very friendly even at the end of their shift and the fries are very tasty too!Can’t wait to stop by again to try more of the menu next time we come through town!

I have yet to receive a meal in the timeframe given to me over the phone. I often ask them to confirm the time, given our menu items. We now wait 20min past the time given before coming in to get our food and still routinely have to wait for items in our order. By that time, things like fries are cold and other items are made incorrectly (wrong milkshake flavour), and milkshakes not even made yet when other items are being waited on.We advocate for supporting local, but find the falsely advertised and unbelieveably longer wait times not worth it for us. We would have had time to drive into many neighboring towns for better service, selection and back again before our order was ready!

This place had so much potential to earn five stars. I stopped here on my way through town based on other reviews.I ordered a plain burger with five toppings and a small fries and small pop.I asked for mustard and got mayonnaise.I guess they assume everyone wants their fries nicely salted. Okay not the end of the world but still.Ordered a diet Coke and got brown soda water.Was it because I didn't tip them? It was my first time here so I wanted to see first.The lesson is when you order takeout, and you don't open your bag until you're miles down the road, let the buyer beware.

Delicious smashburgers with a huge array of options and toppings. Cute environment with a fireplace and excellent service. Looked like a great cocktail menu too but I wasn't drinking that night--it included a lot of local distillery products, which I always appreciate.
