Love the pannekoek which is unique. The eggs, bacon and ham are tasty too. Ambience is nice and cosy. I just find it slightly pricey.

The service was very slow and bad because only one person was working there , the food came out burnt after we waited for 30 minutes for it and they brought out our food at different times so we couldn’t even enjoy eating together. The manager has to hire more people to work there as this poor server was running around trying to keep everyone happy on a super busy day and ofcourse she couldn’t because she is just one person and the chef burnt the food .

The outerior looks quite sketchy, but inside it looks really nice. Everything was quite expensive, but the pancakes were really tasty.

Terrific service! The best De Dutch I've tried! The food came with a very tasty fruit dish that eschewed the usual for chopped mango with a strawberry and beautiful crispy apple slices.Still the service was the distinguishing factor for me. Though the restaurant was hopping the staff were friendly and fast.

First of all, the food was quite good! Since I moved to Canada finding a place that serves sweet breakfast options hasn't been super easy.They have many options and boy, the pancakes are filling!What I missed was coffee on the menu. I need some caffeine with my breakfast.The price (for it being pancakes, which are extremely cheap to make) was a little steep. I spend 50 dollars for what you can see on the table (including a 1litre pitcher of juice).The location is also quite nice, on Hastings but facing into the trees in the back only.lAll in all, quite good, while pricey.

First time coming to De Dutch (lived here over 3 decades). Decided to try it out since I heard so many good things. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Food was amazing and I was very satisfied, large portions and you leave feeling super full! Definelty will be back to try it again!

The wait was about 20 minutes which was very reasonable a beautiful Saturday morning. The food was good, coffee was good, the service was efficient and pleasant and the restaurant was nice and clean. I would recommend this place for groups of 4 or smaller and very family/kid friendly.

Went there on a Sunday morning. Understandably busy and there was a line of people behind us. No one came to take our names down or told us an approximate wait time. Thankfully the guests waiting for a table followed the honor system and remembered who was in front of or behind them. The servers basically put their hands up in the air when there was a slight confusion of who was to be seated next. Really unprofessional and disorganized. Food was okay at best and not worth ruining your morning. Just sleep in rather than go here.

The meat lover Pannekoek is always a delicious choice.This location was interesting because parking and the entrance is in the back alley, very easy to miss
