I had recently broken up with my partner of 8+ years and wanted to feel confident in who I was again. This inspired me to connect with Riske Photography, who I had known about for quite some time. Previously I considered booking a photoshoot but I never felt like I looked good enough. They helped me through the entire process with in-depth preparation guides and expert advice during the session. I felt like I was in a dream when I walked into the studio and had my hair and make-up done and I could hardly believe I was seeing myself in the mirror. Any insecurities I had about my curves or imperfections melted away and I knew this was going to be one of the best experiences of my life.

I decided to do a boudoir shoot to give to my fiancé on our wedding date, and being out of my comfort zone was an understatement! I was so nervous going into it, but Alex and Rob do such a good job at acknowledging your feelings, allowing you to take your time, and making you feel comfortable. It soon felt so natural to be around them and they hyped me up so much! I appreciate their excitement to share their products without pressuring you to add on anything or spend more money. It was so worth the cost, and even though it's a gift for my fiancé I feel like it was more of a gift to myself in the end! Definitely recommend if you're considering doing boudoir photos, take the leap.

I wanted to do something nice for my husband and decided on a boudoir shoot. I googled it and Riske was the first one that popped up. After looking at a few others I decided to go with them. I’m so happy I did. The entire process was so easy. I loved Alex and Rob’s energy throughout the whole thing. I was nervous and excited to do it, especially once the day arrived. But walking into their apartment the day of, I immediately relaxed and felt taken care of. Very pampered. Rob and Alex are so easy going and relaxed it’s hard not to be in their presence. The make up artist they work with is absolutely amazing as well.I definitely had moments of uncomfortableness at the beginning of the shoot but I knew it was just my own insecurities and nothing to do with Alex and Rob. And once we go into it full swing, I relaxed again.It’s something that stretches your comfort levels, but I’m so happy I did it and felt so empowered after. The photos were exactly what I was expecting and then so much more. I have those now forever. I felt so beautiful and strong and I got to see myself like others see me. Not how I see myself. I’d do another shoot in a heart beat and would definitely choose Riske Photography again!! Thank you so much, Alex and Rob!!

Doing this shoot was the single most empowering thing I have done for myself, maybe ever. It’s hard to put into words how magic of an experience this was, and how I have carried the energy from that shoot into my daily life. I keep saying that everyone should do one of these at some point in their lives! Alex and Rob were amazing and so supportive and positive. I would recommend this to everyone. If you are on the fence - do it!!! You won’t regret it.

Alex and Rob were a dream to work with. They are fast to communicate, transparent about cost, and responsive through the entire experience. I absolutely loved working with them to have been supported to create photos that I love. With a focus on the power of this process, Alex and Rob are attuned to the many feelings and emotions that may arise as they support you to love yourself more. I had an amazing experience with Alex and Rob. Alex was in touch with me the whole time and was so kind when I was laid off and couldn't continue with the shoot as planned. They thought of everything - from the prep guide to help me be physically and emotionally ready to be in front of the camera to the journey of viewing the photos afterwards. If you're feeling self-conscious, you'll learn to love your body and celebrate it all while being in safe hands. Can't recommend enough!

I booked an outdoor boudoir shoot with Alex & Rob and it was an amazing experience. They worked so well as a team/couple and were so patient with each other which was a breath of fresh air to see.The two of them were very easy going, light, and fun. We had some good laughs throughout the day, and at no point did I feel uncomfortable or awkward. Rob and Alex were extremely professional and thoughtful from start to finish.I would highly recommend Riske Photography if you’re looking for an empowering shoot.Xo

I wanted to surprise my husband for our 1 year wedding anniversary, but initially wasn't sure how to go about it. When I spoke with Alex on the phone for a consult, her energy was just everything! I instantly felt at ease and I knew that going with Alex and Rob would be perfect.They were so great with communication leading up to the day and providing lots of great resources to get into an empowered mindset (journal prompts, affirmations, self-care). My husband and I had never done anything like this before, but Alex and Rob made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun! The day was filled with so much joy, laughter and they made everything so easy! The beautiful moments they captured exceeded our expectations. Core memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime! I would 100% recommend Riske to everyone; I've never felt so empowered and I'm forever grateful to Alex and Rob for creating such a welcoming and positive space!

Honestly when I wanted to do this I was at a fairly insecure point of my life I had given birth, raised a child, my body was not what it used to be and this opportunity felt like it was needed. I was so empowered by every 2nd of this process! Walking into the studio getting my makeup done, you look at yourself in the mirror & almost explode w/ self-love.You're in a whole other world then you do the shoot and I cannot explain how amazing you feel! You feel like you own the world and it was such an uplifting experience.I recommend anyone who is struggling with insecurities or are questioning themselves in any way, this will bring you up to a level that maybe you're not even ready for, it was so satisfying. I'm so happy that I did it!Also even if you feel like a million bucks. It was so much fun!
