Economy Rent a Car- Vancouver Airport Offsite

Rented for trip in Kauai - best experience with a rental car company EVER. Been going to Kauai since 2003, and always use rental cars. Apparently you can call direct and get a 10% discount also (I didn’t know that). Going this route for our next trip in 2025! Super fast pick up at airport shuttle ( bus was waiting for me), and very quick rental process. Returning the car was also hassle free. No lines, no waiting, and no trying to get me to “upgrade” or buy extra insurance/services at pick-up. And the employees were very nice to work with, which always nice after flying for 15 hours.

The company is super worth it! The car was in good shape and very reasonable price! The staff is professional and helpful! Will recommend 100%! Great experience!

Rented their Ford Bronco for a week. The car was clean and well maintained. Pickup and drop off from the airport (Rashid) was flawless as well. Would definitely rent again from them. Great prices too!

They have the best price in town and offer free shuttle & long open hour! They beat all other competitors already. Can’t complain! Keep up the good work!

Pick up was smooth, they were accommodating with different licenses than the reservation name.Apparently they have a shuttle service to pick up and drop you to the airport, we didn’t know about it so we didn’t go for it but next time.They dropped us by car to the nearest sky train station as well after we completed our booking.The car was perfectly fine, clean and everything we needed. Price was very good too!

Very good service, efficient and they even drive you back to the airport once you return the car. Will definitely be coming here now to rent a car every time I come to Vancouver.

I would rate this business MINUS 5 stars if I could. We booked online and it said the car rental was at the Vancouver airport. It is NOT at the airport. We went to another car rental agency and they told us to go to catch a shuttle to Economy. We wandered around the airport levels for almost one hour asking where to wait or how to get there. While we wandered I called the 877 number and waited on hold a long time. When they finally answered it was very difficult to get information. The woman just kept saying to wait at passenger pick-up but did not specify where or what level. She said the driver would call my cell number when he got there. We waited another 1/2 hour. Finally a man pulled up and started dialing his cell phone. He did not call me though. So I walked up to him and asked if he was there to pick someone up and what company he worked for. He said he worked for Economy but gave another person’s name and number and that info belonged to the person waiting next to us there. He did NOT have my contact information at all. He was picking us up in his personal car because there is NOT a shuttle at all. So we all rode with him in his car for about 10 or 15 minutes until we got to Economy Rent a Car. He was very nice and apologetic though. They are located in a building that says NorthCoast Automotive. They told us that since they were not located at the airport that they would drive us to the airport when we dropped the car off. We told them our flight left at 8am and they said they do NOT open until 8am, so they could NOT take us to the airport and we would have to call a cab. The car had scrapes and dents in 4 different places too . This is the MOST horrible car rental company I have EVER dealt with.

Great rental car. Got off the cruise ship and needed to kill 12 hours. Rented car from West Coast and they took care of me. Would rent again! Good people!

They were very helpful, I booked a sedan but they provided me with a new SUV car. I was late in dropping the car, but they were happy to extend my rental and didn’t charge me for it. They have good and relatively inexpensive rates to hire the cars and are very helpful. Would use their services again. They provide drop and pick up from airport aswell.

We rented for the first time with these guys. Must say we were really impressed, the car was as expected and we drove almost 3000kms with no issues. They made pick up and drop off really simple. Professional outfit. Thank you.
