Ryan's Market Gardens

I cannot say enough great things about what Ryan is doing with his gardens. Giving back to the community, growing organic crops for weekly basket customers and operating a farmstand for roadside pickups on the weekends. He had a vision and made it happen. The produce that I receive each week is wonderful and the service is second to none. If you haven't made the drive up Appleby Line on a weekend from May to October, I strongly recommend you do. It's a lovely drive to north Burlington and you will return home with a bag of organic veggies (and maybe even a flower bouquet) for you and your family to enjoy. Thank you Ryan!

What a treat and privilege to be able to get seasonal, locally grown, chemical free vegetables just up the road! The vegetables in my basket every week have been soooo delicious! And Ryan is an absolute pleasure to meet; always there with a smile and warm greeting! The property and surroundings are gorgeous as well, and a lovely mini-retreat into nature! Highly recommend! If you haven’t visited already, go! You’ll be glad you did! :)

Good variety of fresh local produce. Our weekly basket had flexible pick up and product choices. Ryan was always accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to next year already.

We’ve been picking up a weekly harvest basket from Ryan for the last couple of years. Great produce grown by Ryan onsite and other great items that Ryan brought in - such as fruit from Niagara, Simcoe and local corn and eggs.We will be back again next year!

If you are looking for a local, seasonally grown, chemical free food for your family, Ryan's Market Gardens is your place! The fruits & vegetables are superb quality. His lettuce is so fresh it last for weeks; you will be amazed! Highly recommend signing up for the weekly garden basket. It really helped me stay on track with healthy eating. And I loved coming up with different meal ideas with the fruit & veg. It became my own little Master Chef series.Ryan is an absolute pleasure! He is very knowledgeable and personable. I have been going to Ryan's Market Gardens the past 2 years. Love the quality and variety of produce that he is providing. Definitely worth the drive to Burlington every Saturday and always nice to be greeted by Ryan.

Ryan grows various delicious organic vegetables and brings in other products like locally grown fruits, corn and organic eggs, all reasonably priced. The quality is much better than anything you can buy in the stores. The beautiful drive up Appleby Line to pick up a basket of what is in season has been a true joy each weekend.Ryan always greets you with a smile and a personal word. He knows his customers and their families and is happy to show you around. He is clearly passionate about being a local farmer, and nothing makes us happier than to support somebody with his entrepreneurship. We are just sad that the warm season is over and can't wait for next spring.
