Venue 1906

A gem of a venue in Belleville! The architecture is stunning; the venue restorations plus the original details of the church created an incredibly romantic and moody (in the best way possible) atmosphere for a wedding. The numerous windows and stained glass windows provided incredible natural light, and the space felt like it was glowing during dinner at sunset. The interior and exterior photography from our time here turned out beautifully. All of the staff were great, and the owner, Jeanette, was fab to work with. She was warm, welcoming, professional and super organized, which made our day a breeze. Would recommend!!

We had our wedding at Venue 1906 and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The space is so beautiful. Jeanette and the team were incredible to work with - thoughtful, friendly, and professional.

Venue 1906 was a dream to work with! I had my dream wedding here and rave about it to everyone I know! With such beautiful bones, this venue is beautiful on its own. From the first time my fiancé and I saw Venue 1906 we new this was the place for us. On top of being a stunning venue, the owners wear wonderful to work with. As newer venue I had the privilege of watching this venue grow. My wedding was the wedding of my dreams here !! What this venue has grown to in short amount of time is amazing and I can only image what this place can be for other brides or events !

I have travelled all over this country and Venue 1906 is by far one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen. We filmed music videos in the space and it was absolutely perfect. Jeanette and her team were so accommodating and helped bring our creative dreams to life. Without question we will back for more projects in the future. Can't recommend this place enough!

Hello. Attended our son and daughter in law's wedding there in September. Beautiful venue and staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and tidy and the owner made sure all our needs were met. Very happy with our experience.

Working with Jeanette and Erica was a great experience. They were extremely flexible, accommodating, and reliable. The space itself is lovely and super functional. It's location is also incredibly convenient as there is an airbnb next door and it's in close proximity to a few hair salons. being able to have the ceremony and reception in the same space was a game changer. 10/10 would get married here again ;)

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Venue 1906 in early September. Jeanette (venue director / co-owner) was absolutely amazing throughout the whole planning process; very prompt, personable, helpful, and patient with my very frequent and specific questions (I was a very detail-oriented bride!). I felt very supported in ensuring the venue was set up just how I envisioned, and that I knew exactly what options I had. Jeanette was also very transparent about service costs, and flexible towards figuring out a package that would work just right for my event and needs.Our event was on the smaller side (we had a little under 80 people in attendance), so we only needed a small “flip” with the pews being cleared out between ceremony and reception (there was ample space for us to have our tables set up without them needing to be moved, pew space became the dance floor). The flip went off without a hitch while our guests enjoyed their hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and the wedding party had posed photos done in the lovely little front yard.During the wedding, Jeanette also went above and beyond in at least two situations that I was aware of, where technically how she helped out was not her responsibility, but she stepped in anyway to address problems immediately and make sure the event stayed on-track. I literally wouldn’t have made it down the aisle – at least as perceptively seamlessly as I did – if she hadn’t been there (beware of wayward hanging straps in wedding dress skirts…).Aside from the excellent “customer service,” the venue is absolutely gorgeous. So many details give it beautiful character, like the stained glass windows, lingering organ pipes, and peaked ceiling with exposed beams, but it’s still also “neutral” enough to bring in your own personal touch with your décor.

Absolutely gorgeous venue! The perfect wedding space!My wife and I recently got married at Venue 1906. We met with Jeanette, saw the space and walked out knowing that it was the perfect venue for us.The space is so grand and has so much character, charm and warmth. Its existing décor and its history speak for itself and requires nothing to do be done to it. At the same time it is a blank canvas, and it allows you to create a truly custom wedding experience by playing with the décor, lighting and layout. The downtown location made everything easy and accessible for out of town guests and local residents. It also allowed us the opportunity to get a wide variety photography locations.The owner Jeanette was fantastic to work with. She was professional, organized but was also flexible to any changes we requested. We also hired their “Day of Coordinator” Erika and we could not be happier we made that decision. She had such amazing attention to detail, she was organized and she captured our vision perfectly. Their prices were extremely affordable and we felt in such good hands with them both.Highly recommend Venue 1906!

Venue 1906 is an absolutely stunning venue. We had our wedding there on October 23, 2021. We were so happy and fortunate to be one of the venue's first weddings and we were absolutely blown away by how wonderful Jeanette and family were to work with. The hardwood floors, the stained glass windows, the organ, the lighting, the built in bar and DJ booth were all gorgeous. Not only is it beautiful but the venue is also very functional. There were multiple entrances so that we could sneak in without guests seeing us before the ceremony. There are storage areas so that boxes used to transport decor could be hidden away. The washrooms were clean and accessible - never a line. There is a working elevator for those who require it. We really can't wait to see what the owners do with the place. We will be recommending Venue 1906 to any of our friends getting married or renewing vows. Our guests have been raving about the wedding since!

We had our wedding at Venue 1906 in September 2022 and it was amazing. We were able to come early in the morning to decorate the space to make it our own, and the access to the bridal suite downstairs was a great place for final touches and to wait until the ceremony started. Many guests complimented how beautiful the space looked! We chose this venue because we loved the convenience of having the ceremony and reception all in one place. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone for weddings and other events as well!-Leigha & Jack
