The Finnish Sauna
Is there a better way to appreciate nature than through a traditional Finnish Sauna experience? Sweat and connect in a beautifully built cedar sauna then cool off in a cool alpine lake. Rinse. Repeat.Super easy to use, and bringing glamping into camping.. can’t wait to have a backcountry Finnish Sauna again. 6 out of 5 stars.

The Finnish Sauna
We celebrated a birthday at Arc Spa with a group of friends and had fabulously fun AND relaxing time. Such a great way to bring people together, do some self-care, and have a shared experience that feels novel. Our hosts Valtteri and Cedar were so attentive and kind the whole time. We can't wait to go back!

The Finnish Sauna
A genuine experience hosted by a very amazing Finnish viking. The sauna's available are excellent and have authentic stoves inside. The owner is really responsive and is very flexible with delivery of his sauna's. It is so relaxing and truly a unique offering within the Vancouver region. If you are lucky, the owner will hangout and share some amazing stories with your group, it really add the experience! Highly recommended to try out and book for personal get togethers.

Fantastic experience! The wood fired sauna was hot and ready for us at Spanish Banks. Super nice service, clean and spacious sauna, great scenery, ocean and fresh water access to cool off. We will definitely book it again....hopefully regularly

Simply the best sauna experience - hot, cozy and in a beautiful squamish location. Valtteri is incredibly generous and is doing amazing things for the sauna culture and community. I’d rent one everyday if I could!

We rented a sauna for the week and it was even better than expected, the sauna was delivered and set up right at the house and provided the best après ski experience to be social and recover after a great day on the mountains. The whole experience coordinating (and even arranging to keep the sauna for an extra day) was so easy. The Finnish Sauna team checked in to make sure everything was going well.If you have been thinking about hiring a sauna, don't hesitate, make it happen as you will not be disappointed.*warning: you will probably want to buy a sauna after this experience!

The Finnish Sauna
I had such an amazing experience! He had everything set up, sanitized and ready by the time we arrived. He explained the traditional way of doing it. Since we were close to the water, we had the option to jump in the ocean, as well there was a stream next to us and he would fill the buckets for us and we would dump the water on our heads. (don't worry we didn't do it in the steam, we didn't want to disturb the ecosystem) Since we had booked it around sunset and after, he also kindly offered us a fire, which was needed as it go dark. I would 100% recommend and do this again.

Sauna camping is our new favourite summer holiday and at our favourite spot in Whistler we’ve got every kind of adventure at our fingertips. Rock climbing, biking and hiking during the day then come back to camp for an evening of hot sauna time and cold plunging. Perfect ‘Finnish’ to every day. Thanks to Valtteri and his great team for making it all possible!

Absolutely incredible experience. Valtteri was so accommodating and flexible and so generous about letting us use anything he had that he thought might make our experience that much more special. And thank you for coming out to set the sauna up at Spanish Banks on such a wet night! It added to that special sauna experience. I will definitely be coming back the Finnish Sauna for many more experiences in the near future! Thank you for putting together such an incredible experience in a place that needs more saunas!

The Finnish Sauna
After witnessing the care and thoughtfulness of the owner during a sauna / cold plunge experience, I decided to use his sauna services exclusively for my health-focused events in Vancouver. Valtteri has genuine excitement for sharing the health benefits of cold hot therapy with the people.
