Great little area next to the beach! I bike here everyday and have always enjoyed it rain or shine. Its quiet and scenic and the people you do see here are always friendly. You may see a train or two pass by across the river, but they usually pass by quickly. The bench area is full of peaceful birds chirping and sometimes you can see a fish jump out the water!

This is a very scenic location on the Fraser River. I was there on a very rainy, misty day which had its own unique appeal for a set wander along the shore while enjoying some unique views of the river and the traffic on it. While there, voyageur canoe full of paddlers pulled in. What a great experience they must have had following in the wake of Simon Fraser. Apparently such tours and experiences offered through Voyageur Adventures - - worth checking out. There is also a boat launch area with pay parking. Parking for a walk or picnic is free.

Honestly not a huge picnic ground but its quite and never busy. Beautiful outlook over the Fraser and just a wonderful stopping point during your day

Enjoy a walk along a tidal river. Know the tide because when it is high you may not have a dry path.
