I was very surprised. It was an older facility. Wasn’t expecting the level of comfort I experienced. What makes a place for me , is the hot water. Best shower in a long time. Really hot and lots of it. The bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and right in front of my room.No shampoo or coffee, it is what it is. I never use hotel coffee and I carry my own shampoo.I’d recommend the Algonquin

Got charged over 50 dollars for towels missing" but the towels that were "missing" were not in the room to begin with. I got a double room and I noticed when I first checked in that there were only enough towels for 1 person which was fine I didn't even think about it till when I went to check out and the guy checking me out charged me. I tried explaining multiple times at how the towels that were "missing" were not in the room to begin with. I've stayed here before and spent hundreds of dollars in rooms at this place previously but I will never go back now after the way I was treated.Very disappointing.."

This was the worst place I have ever even stepped in. The phone didn't work, or the shower. It was so dirty I wouldn't have put animals in these rooms. How they can charge 68$ a night is unbelievable I would sleep in a dumpster before I rented a room there again.

I came to visit a friend one night on my bicycle, I rode along 104ave from 156st. On arrival I was impressed by the rows of amber lanterns and the regimented aesthetics of the place, it was very beautiful, as I rode through the parkinglot, flanked on either side by the glow of the orange lanterns and the occasional open door revealing bright, rich, yellow light from the rooms within. There was a very Native looking woman with a long ponytail and beautiful standing by the front entrance leaning against the lobby her legs crossed. She was looking in front of her and slightly upwards and it looked as if she was waiting on someone, she was serious but seemed approachable, I rode passed her and she didn't even acknowledge my presence, even to see who I was, just kept staring in front of her. The person I had went to see was not there and the lobby was friendly and helpful with somewhat relaxed policies based on how you explain yourself and I assume the weather. When I went to the parkinglot again there was a woman of petite build who was riding away, I rode to intercept her thinking it might be the person I had come to see but it wasn't and we both laughed.

Well it's a little bit shabby but not too bad rooms starting at 78 bucks a night double room while the room with a separate bedroom 102 tax included not too bad really
