I purchased a Banff Luxury spa almost 3-1/2 years ago. It was the only spa that satisfied all my criteria. Specifically, it was small enough to fit in my small inner-city yard (80” x 80”) yet it had a full 40” depth – more than most spas and a depth that makes the smaller footprint feel very roomy even for taller folk. It also featured a 24-hour recirculation pump. This was important to me because I wanted a quiet spa that was better suited for use with a bromine salt generator system. I also liked the layout which featured 3 moulded corner seats plus a more open bench corner seat.Unfortunately, being located in Montreal, there were no dealers close by. I called H2O spas and spoke to Mark who did not want to sell me the spa initially due to the lack of service in the city. Eventually, I convinced him to ship me one with only a 3-year parts warrantee & I would deal with any service issues myself.After 3-1/2 years I am very pleased with my choice. Luckily, I have had no issues that would normally have been covered by a service warrantee. I have had to tighten a few fittings within the pump housing (very easy). Also, just before my parts warrantee was to expire the Gecko LED control screen failed. Mark sent me a free replacement right away & I was able to replace it within 15 minutes.We use the spa 2 or 3 times per week and after 3 years it still looks and functions like new. The jets are powered by two 4hp pumps – so there’s always plenty of pressure. Each seat is configured differently so you get a nice variety of massage action.This spa features entry steps moulded into the shell. Oddly, perhaps, we enter from the bench seat side of the spa and don’t use these steps. I think the steps would be best suited for when the spa is sunken into a deck & one entered the spa from above. Instead, we enter the spa from a small step on the side and it is easier to pivot a leg directly onto the bench seat. But, the steps have been great for our growing daughter that, instead of overheating, loved to sit on the top step to cool off. The steps actually don’t use up any functional space between the moulded seats.I definitely consider this to be a high-end spa that should be considered against other such spas. It has been a great pleasure to be able to speak directly with the manufacturer when I had any inquiries. The manufacturer does not specifically recommend bromine salt generator systems – but I have been very happy with mine. You need to be patient in order to tune it properly, but, once you do, it’s pretty much maintenance free and no extra chemicals are required. The re-circulation pump is pretty quiet – and, when speaking with the manufacturer, I discovered there are ways to reduce the noise even further.In summary, if a meteorite destroyed my Banff H2O spa tomorrow, I’d simply buy the exact same spa again (after a short period of grieving).

If only I could leave 6 stars!!!I have been a hot tub owner 20 plus years.About 5 to 7 years ago I was in the market for a new tub and was really doing a lot of research. I dropped into old showroom in Delta on River Road and met Mark and his son who explained how they make H20 Spas.Mark and his son have well over 40 years combined experience and worked for other major hot tub brands before developing his own H20 spas.You get what you pay for with these spas. Top quality material with superior beefed up framing and insulation.I recently had a small leak and control panel sticker was starting to peel. I called up Mark and he offered assistance after hours on his personal cell to try and trouble shoot.You do not get this kind of service or care from those cheap Costco spas!!!Mark sent a tech over to fix leak and replace a pillow and sticker for control panel.My spa now looks as new as it was 6 years ago.I am happy to recommend Mark and family to anyone looking for a superior spa from a family business that offers amazing service.Thanks again mark :)Very happy and satisfied customer

I went to visit the new showroom recently and had such a great experience. Roger is incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for every question I had. He doesn't try and up-sell you to a tub that you don't need, but rather finds the one that works within your budget. I hadn't heard of H2O spas before this but after talking with Roger and watching a video on how these hot tubs are constructed, I was convinced this was going to be a good purchase.The nice thing about H2O spas are they don't have a thousand add ons that will double the retail price tag when you're actually done. The only option is ozone which is an inexpensive no brainer and everything else is included. The tubs all have aluminum frames not wood and are made locally with North American parts. Do your research and you'll be pleasantly surprised how affordable and nice these spas are.I highly recommend going to talk to Roger if you're in the market for a new spa. He'll give you all the information you'll need and won't pressure you at all to purchase.

Excellent quality built hot tubs. Mark and Lloyd provide amazing service and stand behind their products that they build. I'm always happy with their service and how they help us take care of our customers here in Saskatoon. Anyone that has ever had a leaky hot tub or has had to work on any hot tubs loves the way they are insulated and built.

Really bad long term quality. Don’t think the spas are tested for leaks before they are shipped. Have only had my hot tub for 5 years . Had to have them come in to do a warranty fix in the first year as there was a huge leak. After 2 years the warranty runs out. Since then I’ve had 2 additional jets leak on 2 separate occasions on top of that the water fall feature is leaking too. Nightmare to have to take my deck apart every time to chase these leaks. Super disappointed after paying over 10s only 5 years old And 4 leaks so far !Brutal !

I bought my spa from H2O at the Delta Location in March of 2016.I have owned 6 spas at various homes over the years.......I have had ZERO issues with my Snowbird model until today !A $1.50 gasket had failed and needed replacement .It has been the BEST most Problem Free unit I've ever owned.Buying canadian from canadians is the only W-Eh! to go, EhEd EdwardsSouth Surrey

Waited 6 months to write a review so I could comment on sales, support and product. I ended up buying a quartet 120v and the sales process was great. No pressure sales from Roger, he provided lots of information about hot tubs, specs and things to look for. After contemplation we returned and purchased our tub. Pick up was easy and install was also smooth. I ran into one hiccup which was the wiring, I text roger and he sent me diagrams to assist. I was soon in business. He gave advice on where to purchase wiring and a chemical kit in order to save money. Overall the process was fantastic.

I have purchased many Spas from H2O Spas and found the quality of there spas excellent! They are comfortable and I have had very little issues with the performance. Because it is a family owned business, they take great pride in the quality of product they supply. Mark, Jackie and Jeff has always stood behind there product and have gone over and above to make sure myself and the people I have referred to there product were very satisfied. Keep the good work and service!

Update May 2023Had to have heat pump replaced already. Aerator does not work anymore. After last refill I have black particles floating around which is from deteriorating valve gaskets according to a hot tub repair company. Avoid these hot tubs and this company at all costs!!Bought an H2O spa about 3 years ago. I have had several mechanical issues with it and local dealer took care of me when I had issues but there is no longer a dealer in my city and service is not good. Called head office 2 weeks ago and they told me they would let me know who services H2O spas in my area but still nothing.

We purchased our hot tub in Sep/20. We felt good when we left the premises. We felt that we'd made the right choice in hot tubs. Move forward to when the hot tub was to be delivered (Feb 1/21). No word from them so I messaged Roger on Jan 8/21 to see what delivery date we could expect. His response on Jan 8/21 was that it would be ready to go on Feb 22/21. He then asked if we needed delivery set up, that he could find out the rates & book for us. Jan 8/21 my response was yes, please set up the delivery. I heard nothing from him until Feb 3/21 when I sent another message requesting confirmation of the delivery date so that I could arrange our electrician to attend & finish the wiring to the tub. Feb 3/21 Roger says that now the pick up date for the hot tub is Feb 12/21 & asks if we need to set up delivery. I had already confirmed on Jan 8/21 that I needed him to set up the delivery, Now, he says that we can't set up a delivery date without a completion date. In the meantime, my electrician has now been told 3 dates & then Roger says not to set him up until I hear from the delivery company. That was the last we heard from Roger. No follow up call to see how the set up or delivery went, or if we needed chemicals, questions etc. Would be buy from H20 again, no, not in a million years. The hot tub it's self is beautiful & we love it so far; but, we feel that the after market sales are greatly lacking & we were left feeling that as soon as we paid the $10,000 plus, we were just dropped & on to the next sale.
