I've gotten 2 cats from them and they have a good shelter

We've had our rescue for 2 and a half years now and we love her

The management here cares more about themselves than they do about the animals or the people that care for the animals. We live in a state that is known for its harsh winters and still they avoid finding any business to salt or plow their parking lot or backyard due to financial" but the 2 most part time employees are salaried and have little to no contact with the animals. The parking lot is a hazard to the public. They have been known to fire anyone that questions managements decision making regarding things like unnecessarily euthanizing animals or their treatment of other employees."

This place is so ridiculously abusive to staff for such a low pay. I feel terribly for the animals. They barely get walked or looked after because they won't sand or plow the play areas for the animals. People are fired over text for speaking out against management's abusive tendencies as well. They take their donation money to pay salaries to 2 women in the office who never even look at the dogs or cats and work 3 days a week.

You have to get your landlords permission to LOOK at dogs. The lady at the front desk REFUSED to let me and my son in. Since when HART?! Where’s your HEART at?! Don’t you want these animals to get some attention while being locked up?

these poor animals. every dog is feed the same amount of food (1 scoop) regardless of size or actual dietary needs. animals are put down for “health reasons” without even seeing a vet. management is not involved, greedy and are extremely rude. Please adopt elsewhere, i’ve seen far too many animals health deteriorate while in HARTS care.

I adopted this short haired grey tabby kitten who is the sweetest, cuddly little kitty I could have asked for! I named him Zen for how relaxed he is around everyone.This facility truly cares about the animals they have and I would recommend, even if you don't want/can't have a pet, to donate food, toys, scratch posts, etc, so that they can continue to keep up their good work!

The management here is horrible. The parking lot is a hazard in itself but the way the workers are talked down on and treated is wrong. They get all these donations and can't even afford salt the back or the parking lot then turn around and talk about liability" to the workers.It's not the part time workers job to pick up the slack because they can't keep employees around

Decided to donate $200 of bones last week only to find out the management is super rude and lazy.They don't even bother to shovel or sand the walkways so even just trying to get into the building to give them free stuff is hazardous

I stopped here on last trip to town and was really impressed. I adopted my best freind Skip a 3 yr old male cat. He was a blessing he has exceeded all my expectations and is so lovable a perfect fit. The staff here is so helpful and go above and beyond to help you get the right new addition to your family. I am handicapped and in a wheelchair and they helped me get my new freind into my vehical and made sure I got around in the building good. I highly recommend this shelter for your next cat or dog they are really well cared for. Also if you have things to donate money or other things they can use please do.
