Acropolis Greek Taverna
First time eating here - we ordered take out and had a wonderful experience! The service was great, the meal was delicious (chicken souvlaki dinner - chicken skewers, Greek salad & potatoes). We also ordered their Greek fries and wow they were out of this world - so yummy! If only we lived closer I’d be ordering from here all the time :)

This is honestly one of the best Greek restaurant food I have ever had. The rice, the chicken, MOIST. The taziki is amazing! Don’t even get me started on the Greek fries! Those were the best Greek fries I have ever had. Also let’s not forget, the prices, are very fair. 1 Greek dinner, two skewers, rice, taziki, pita bread and salad all 19 dollars.. also the Greek dinner can feed legit 2/3 people. The workers there are very sweet, specifically the owner of the place he’s always so sweet and welcoming! The place is also really well designed it’s so well put together. The decorations are very cute. Definitely love the place, and definitely will be coming here a LOT! Great job!

I had the BEST experience with Acropolis Greek Taverna. The food was the tastiest Greek Food in the city. I only wish we had tried more items! The customer service I experienced was better than outstanding; they went above and beyond for me and my Mom tonight. I cant put into words how much I appreciate everything they did for us. I can guarantee you I will not order Greek from anywhere else and I will be yelling it from the mountain tops until everyone knows about it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amazing food and great people I will be be ordering again in the very near future! (Mom Said she will too!)

What delicious Greek food! Everything is so fresh. The souvlaki is not dry at all. The garlic sauce has a good kick to it! The lemony potatoes are fluffy. They even have a “village” Greek salad which is the authentic salad without lettuce. The owners are very friendly. Great takeout place for lunch and dinner.

Craving for Greek food, this is a new takeaway place. Food was delicious, big serving. I have leftover for another dat. For the price this is a better choice then McDonald’s or KFC. They have a great selection on their menu. I would call in advance so you don’t need to wait. The service was great friendly staff. Support Local business!

We ordered food for a party (3 mixed dinners with some extras). The food was ready at the agreed upon pick up time and staff even helped bring it to the car! The food was delicious! The meat was so well seasoned and the salads were so fresh! The servings were enormous and everyone was so happy to have some extras to take home! I definitely recommend Akropolis and definitely will be ordering from here again! Professional and kind staff and amazing food!!! Also thank you so much for being open on Canada Day! You made our party so special!

This place always has the best tasting food in hamilton. The chicken is definitely my favourite, the gyro meat here is also bang on perfect. I recommend this to any one and anything. Go try it if you haven’t. You won’t regret it.

They really need to update their service hours on Google.We rushed from work to make it on time to this place that claimed to close at 8. However, when we arrived, they informed us that the kitchen and service actually close at 7:30. We asked them to update their time on Google, but they refused, insisting that the place closes at 8. This doesn't make sense since it's only for takeout.If the kitchen closes at 7:30, it means they don't provide service after that time!They shouldn't confuse customers and should simply display the correct times.

Great tasting Greek food. Fresh ingredients. It's true that the lemon potatoes are delish! Ate more of the potatoes than the rice and salad. Ordered the acropolis platter for two. Skewered chicken and pork gyro. Lots of rice and greek salad. Pita on the side. Well seasoned food, salad dressing, white sauce. Healthy. Honestly, this platter is good for three since the food is very satisfying with just the small amount of food eaten.Fairly priced Highly recommended for lunch/ dinner.
