Really frustrating to deal with. The owner/manager is a great guy however beware during the busy part of the year(summer) that these guys insanely overbook. They are one of the more expensive quotes I received, but due to some reviews (almost all 5star which should have been my first red flag) I booked them. During quoting the manager was very responsive and communicative and answered all my questions very quickly which I loved.I moved out of Calgary in May which required an overnight storage I thought was going to be in the new city but learned it was not, day of. The manager was not communicative during the moving process and did not inform me what time the movers would be there, I thought it would be in the morning but was informed after HOURS of trying to call and text every number I had (I almost thought they were going to no show and I would have to find new movers or get a uhaul) that they would be in the afternoon. They finally showed up around 4pm, we had to be out of the house that night.The next day they were more communicative as I moved 3 hours away, the movers were to make the trip that day. Fine, no problem. I asked them to be there around noon, but they didn’t even leave Calgary until about 11am (they had another move before mine the manager did not tell me about, I heard from the movers themselves). I would have been okay if there was more communication or if they told me they had other jobs but excuses as to why they were late kept being his answer. After the movers got everything in, I tried to contact the owner/manager through call and text but they kept ignoring me. Never heard from them.The movers themselves were great and quick, however the manager/owner needs some help or needs to learn to manage the system better. Not accepting phone calls or texts on moving day is extremely unprofessional and stressful for the clients. They should have some sort of reception, assistant or someone to answer the main line and answer simple questions. Will not be using this company again.

After reading the reviews I decided to go with Super Powers for my own personal move & they exceeded expectations! Both Alex & Aaron were super! (Literally). They got the job done in 4 hours, took excellent care of all my belongings & didn’t damage any walls of either home. They even went above & beyond to help set up my new couch & tv! I would gladly pay the extra money to hire these guys just to not have the headache of dealing with any damage like I’ve had with other moving companies. The saying is true, you get what you pay for! The owner, Christian was very commutative from start to finish & was very detailed with everything so it was easy setting up the move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving or even for junk removal. I did the movers special so they take 3-4 pieces of furniture & donate it to any of your favourite charities. I will have to try out their carpet cleaning services next! Thanks again for the amazing service!

These guys were as Super as their name implies. Fast, efficient and hard working from beginning to end, but also super friendly, professional and oh-so-careful with all of our belongings. We hired 3 men to do the move as we had a lot of large & heavy items but nothing fazes these guys! They were joking and had a positive attitude for the entire day, which is exactly what you want to have when inviting strangers into your home.As a freebie even their manager Gord showed up. He not only helped with the move but he also chatted us up to see how things were going and kept a mindful eye on his employees which made things go extra smoothly. And all that with a recovering back injury from a recent accident. How amazing is that?To top it all off they showed up on the first major snowfall of the year but there was not a single complaint to be made. These guys just buckled down and got to work, placing carpet runners all throughout both houses to ensure our floors, old and new, stayed dry and protected. They wrapped chairs, bookshelves and end tables in plastic and thick moving blankets to keep everything scratch free and stable (we did have a small scape on the edge of our new dining table but something like this can be expected on such a big move and we were able to touch it up after). Boy, did these guys work hard!Their prices were reasonable considering we had 3+ men for almost 6 hours and you can tell that the owner and manager care about their business and their customers. Christian, the owner, even called personally before they started to make sure they arrived on time.Be prepared to do a little paperwork first as the owner wants a detailed inventory emailed to him when booking your move - a first for me. But in retrospect I can see the wisdom behind this as they really want to ensure enough men will show up with a big enough truck to move your entire household to avoid wasting anyone's time.If you're looking for a recommendation you have it: Hire them. The level of care, effort and courtesy Super Powers provided me is everything you'd want from a moving company. We were highly impressed!

I had plenty of reservations about using professional movers for the first time in my life given their industry's sometimes dubious reputation. However, my experience with Superpowers' Christian, Aiden and Ty was entirely positive and I have no trouble recommending them to anyone looking to hire professionals for their move.

These Guys were awesome!!! Made what is usually a stressful day go without a hitch!! Hope I don’t have to move for a long time but if I do I am calling Super Powers again.

The owner is rude, condescending, and slow to respond. The movers showed up 90 minutes late, and the move was constantly slowed down by half hour bathroom breaks. Very expensive for what accounted for an hour of work and 20 minutes of driving.You also get the fine print AFTER paying a non refundable deposit.

We recently moved with Super Powers Movers and were very happy with our experience. They were fast, professional, very caring with our items and extremely pleasant to work with. I found them to be honest and warm and want to thank Aaron, Wade and Darius for being so careful and effiecient with our belongings. Paired with the communication excellence from Christian in the office, this team was amazing! I most definitely recommend them if you are needing their services. Thanks again Super Powers!
