My daughter and I volunteer at the Rescue. All the animals as so well cared for and their physical and emotional well-being is first and foremost. Nicola ensures that her animals are socialized and healthy and they live in a true home environment before being adopted out. It is so important to match adoptees with adopters and Nicola has a definite talent. We got our special needs kitten, Quinn, from the Rescue and he has become a wonderful addition to our home. We hope in the future to adopt a couple horses as well.

I adopted a dog from Nicola over a year ago and it was the best experience ever. She cares so much for each animal she has and takes the time to ensure they are going to the most suitable home for them. She’s helpful long after you adopt as well. You can ask questions or for advice and she’s very willing to help. She is one of the most hardworking women I have ever seen who genuinely welcomes every animal to her rescue.

I adopted a puppy in July from Nicola and her team. Nicola's facility is incredible and all animals in her care are clearly loved and well taken care of. She ensures all animals go to good homes and was very professional.

Nicola takes in, cares for, loves and rehabilitates many animals in desperate need. I adopted a senior dog with special needs. Nicola not only rescued this sickly and almost dead dog she secured vet services. With her family's love and care my future best friend was able to find a loving forever home.

Adopted my boy from here, Nicola is amazing and still keeps in touch with his progress. He had been given up on by other shelters, so glad she could see what an amazing boy he is! I have never in my life trusted an animal more around kids, my big baby.

I adopted a well adjusted dog from Nicola. She required major surgery before coming to me and this was funded by a public auction fundraiser. Upon the surgery being completed, the dog's behavior improved even more, and this dog who was surrendered for biting children" is doted on by my whole family

Probably does good work for some animals, but is shockingly callous to others. Just because some people continue to see animals as things to abuse and consume, this rescue is happy to play along and rescue" animals only to slate them for violent and unnecessary death at an early age

PG Equine and Animal Rescue does a fantastic job of bringing in, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused and abandoned animals.It takes a very specific type of person to be able to see these animals in some of the worst shape imaginable, then nurse them back to health, welcome the animals into their home and family, socialize them, train them, and then ultimately let them go.Nicola, the owner, is the perfect person for the job, as she has such a natural and unique way with animals, and a huge heart. She is one of the most compassionate and altruistic people I have ever met, and the work she does at PGEAR is incredible.
