Tonquin Park
Cute little park with a winding trail with a few viewpoints. The trail isn't super long and is good for families. If you are in the area check it out! The town nearby is also very cute. Consider going down south to see some of the trails there.

Beautiful spot even In the rain. Lots of trails and different beaches and viewpoints. Would be a fun place to bring kids to play.

Tonquin Park
Beautiful and easy hike which takes you right to the beach. One of the only beaches I visited in Tofino where you weren't blasted by wind. Highly recommend.

Tonquin Park
Great place to visit, totally relaxing. Sound of waves, shaded little coves, plenty of fine sand. This place is a hidden gem in Tofino. Boardwalk down to the beach, free parking for 8hrs. Bring some favourite fluid, hide in the shade and join in the tranquility of the place. Lots of white sand, beware of undertow while in the ocean, but enjoy this little paradise while you can.

Oct.14/2020.The uniqueness of Tonquin Park is the trail to the beach is the rain forest you pass through. You come through an old-growth forest that is so thick that is unimaginable that any living creature would be able to get through it. A very well maintained wooden boardwalk with no wood rot decay to the structure considered the amount of rain the region gets year-round. The park was set up in 1969, as you walk along the boardwalk take time to read the people's names carved into the blanks you walk over that help to construct the wooden platforms that have many levels you descend. Huge Douglass fir trees can be seen along the way. Liken moss hangs from the branches that add a feature to mother nature. A sign requesting you stay off one area from overuse that is trampled over is destroying the flora. Don’t worry you won’t miss anything if you don't enter there's plenty to see along the beach. The beach itself is small, you will see caverns carved from erosion over the generations.Privite residents have access to the beach. Please respect their privacyHave fun, play safe & Stay healthy.

Amazing place. 2 google map location. Read more>1. The park has three beaches and three trail connecting with each other.2. This specific pointer is closest to the beach. (Max 5 min walk)3. Remember the point from where you step in the beach after the stairs. We forgot and had to walk 20 mins to go back to our parked car! This beach is absolutely marvellous! A gem in Tofino! It does not have high wave like long beach/chesterman beach but you surely should not or ‘must not’ miss this point! Its heaven on the earth! There is a flash toilet with sink at the parking lot of this point. Limited car parking (6-10) available. But you can park on the side of the road!Happy journey! Check pictures (smoky day from Washington wild fire)

Little hike down to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Water was very cold but the beach and sand were amazing. Boardwalk hike down so best to pack your beach stuff in a backpack. Views were amazing
