Incredibly happy with my experience at Detour Cyclery. Ian took the time to explain what was causing the shifting issue on my Road Bike and the repairs required to get me back on the road. Detour not only had the bike ready in less than 24 hours, it was sparkling clean. Thank you Detour Cyclery for making my bike run like a dream!!!Update: George convinced me to upgrade!!

I had a problem with my gears that could not be figured out at another shop. Ian was able to help solve the problem and tuned my bike up. Really happy with his service and knowledge.

Took two bikes in for a Grand Tour" tuneup - the bikes are 10+ years old and had never had a tuneup and had been in storage for a few years also. The bikes are like new again and we're looking forward to getting back in the saddle. Shop had them ready when promised (at such a busy time of the year) and the staff are clearly knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely make this our shop of choice whenever the bikes need attention. Thanks."

I just want to say that it’s always a pleasure coming in to get my mountain bike serviced. Apart from the great prices everyone that works there is really friendly. I wish all the best and lots of success to everyone at Detour Cyclery! It really is a gem of a bike shop that has a unique vibe to it.

Visited this shop for the first time to get some new parts installed on my mountain bike. Ian was was very friendly and courteous and did a proper install of my chainring and bashguard. I dropped my bike off on a Monday and was ready to pick up on the Thursday, just in time to hit the trails for the weekend. Detour will be my go-to bike shop moving forward.

Great shop with a good selection of bikes and softgoods. Ian (the owner) was really helpful in running me through how to get back up and running again with my broken wheel, and now he's helping me find my next bike.Expert level tuning and service. Highly recommended.

I brought my bike to get the DETOUR" tune-up. I dropped my bike off on April 22nd 2023. Ian told me that my bike would be ready by the end of the week. Fast forward to Friday April 26 (the nice weekend). He said my bike isn't ready but since its going to be nice this weekend take the bike and come back and ill give you a 24 hour turn around time. Took the bike for the weekend and brought it back May 1st. Called him on the Thursday May 4th to see if my bike was ready for pick up and told me that it was. Today May 5th walked into the store saw my bike on the rack. Wasn't touched. He asked me if it was ok to come back in an hour. Already upset I left collected my thoughts and came back picked up my bike. He never apologized or never said why it was not done or even lied. Can't believe that happened. He serviced my bike since I got it and not sure why I got treated the way I got treated."

Recent work on my Specialized S-Works - new chain , replaced cassette and cable housing , repaired BB and a bit more. Smooth as silk now , Ian's the best !

I went in to support a local bike store and left a satisfied customer. Detour Cyclery helped me with a bent hanger and fixed my rear shifting. Ian’s knowledgeable and I had a good time chatting about my biking goals and Zwift while he serviced my bike. Will take my future maintenance and repairs here.

I must say, that I am very impressed with Ian's knowledge and amicable aura.I attended the shop to get an estimate on a specific service (other than a basic tune-up).My bike was serviced in a timely schedule, and the estimate given, did not deviate from the total balance.It was a great interaction with such a skilled person.
