Easy place to shop with helpful staff and good stock of what you need. I just wish they carried more BBQ spices and seasonings to with all the product.

Great finds and locally sourced meat.I would recommend the kabobs but it’s tough to go here regularly when Costco seriously undercuts prices for a similar quality AAA meat.I wish this business all the best but it will have to be a once a month visit from now on.

Prairie Meats was serving unmasked customers on Sept 23rd at 4:00pm. This is against public current public health orders.I asked the customer to put on a mask; the customer ignored me. I also commented to the workers that they should not serve this customer. The staff was polite but did not act. I called the office to notify the managers; left a message, but no managers returned my call.I have been a loyal customer to Prairie Meats for 10 years. But if I have another experience where they serve people that don’t follow health guidelines; I will be taking my business to other butcher shops.

Ordered the regular size entertainer tray. Was suppose to be on a medium sized square tray with a variety of sausage, cheese and crackers, or at least according to the photo and description on the website. Not only did it come on small 12 inch tray, it looked completed thrown together and definitely not what was shown in the photo to feed 10-15 people. So disappointed I paid 57$ and it isn’t even close to what I needed or thought I was paying for.

I was a cook 20 years ago. The quality of every item we received from pm was amazing. A couple weeks ago I purchased a sausage sample box for almost 70 dollars. The farmer sausage had so much filler had I dropped it three bounces later I would need a ladder to get it off the roof. My jaw still hurts. The Mennonite sausage was fantastic years ago !! But not now. I think they ♻️ used rubber gloves for the casings lol. I'm so disappointed. I used to buy a case of the Mennonite for about 30 $. Julienne cut it into half inch pieces and add a bottle of lager as I fried it . I will find a small butcher that still values quality over profit.

Oh my! I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. It is like a giant candy store for adults...but with fresh beef and chicken and fish and...and..and...The Millar Ave location has a huge selection of both fresh and frozen products. Many ready to go and whole meals prepped. The 1st time in was in I wasn't seeing what I was looking for. An associate named Lana spotted me and came out from behind the counter and literally took me by the arm and walked with me around the store. Today we were back and browsing and many associates offered assistance as well as free samples. Such great customer service so many products to choose from. A definite go to place for us! (Love the potatoe crusted cod!)
