We stopped in on our vacation from Ontario,All of the stronghold beers are fantastic! There is something there for everyone! The brewery itself is a beautiful old building that you can tell they have put a lot of work into! The family that runs this fine establishment are all so kind and welcoming! I wish we lived closer so we could visit again!!

Fantastic beers served a beautiful old building with lovely woodwork. The staff were very prompt, cheerful and seemed very happy to be there. Would recommend stopping here for a some great beer!

The Stronghold is a fantastic little family run bar, with a fantastic range of in house brewed drinks, that will have your taste buds wanting more. And the prices can't be betten. Not just that, if you and your friends and family fancy a bite to eat, you can order from your favorite pizza store. The atmosphere is a carm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and if it becomes your local, then everyone will know your name and say hi with a smile.

Bought some IPA toucans" beer in Calgary. Every beer had residue I'm the can and a lot of it.It's disgusting. I had to pour out all the beer because I couldn't(or didn't think I should be) separating the beer and doing the brew masters job.The beer itself was a little.... Weird. It tasted more like a home brew than a refined beer from a brewery."

Made a pitstop during a road trip to check out Stronghold. Walking in to the historic building, I was thrilled to see the elements of historical design. Ornate wood features, and a period piece bar perfectly matched the building exterior. I picked up some flights to check out their range. Overall, I'd say their beer is good. Not the best beer I've ever had, and the flavours are more traditional (deep, malty, earthy) instead of the newer trend of breweries leaning towards ultra fruity/tropical etc. The best part of the visit was the extremely large and cute outdoor patio. It was a great place to gather for a few beverages. I would definitely frequent this place if it were in my back yard.

Awesome local pub, nestled in the middle of historic downtown Fort Macleod. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of unique and tasty beers.Try one of their flights, a pint of draft, or get some to take home. They have a bunch of different options.

A very unique and great experience here. Their beer is fantastic, the venue is the most gorgeous thing. I love the taproom bar and the street they are on. A mix of modern and and retro. Would go again
