Day & Ross Freight

Finally got new shower kit delivered while i was home and they didn't even bother driving into the yard after I told the person that called that they are able to drive in without issue. Drivers also DID'T come to door to say they were here AFTER I was called the DAY BEFORE and said that I will be around home for them so I can direct them where to place the stuff so I wouldn't have to move it twice or even get help when 1 box is GLASS DOORS and Heavy along with it being left outside in the middle of winter (which it can get really cold out).What if I was/am someone that has a DISABILITY or INJURY (and don't have anyone available to help) preventing myself from moving more than a few pounds at a time or an elderly person that can't move the same stuff? Very bad delivery drivers after i repeated myself multiple times to the person that called for the scheduled delivery and that I will be around home today when they arrive (was suppose to arrive between 3 & 4 pm).Very disappointed in the drivers for not informing me when they got here, I really wish they did get stuck in the yard when leaving so they had to come to the door and ask for help to get out.Going to make sure that the next time I need to order something, it will be with a different company that has better costumer service since they are not worth the time, patience and headache

Books a time slot then doesn't show up. Endless wait times on hold listening to their advertisement on repeat. Will not use thrm again

Worst place to do business with! Very unprofessional company with horrible customer service. Freight is regularly damaged or stolen. The dock manager dave is the most clueless person i have ever met. The terminal manager Carol is racist beyond belief. This company ignores health and safety on all levels. Its only a matter of time before a life is lost. When alligations with proof are given to head office, it is swept under the rug.

Extremely unreliable company. A shipment that was supposed to be delivered got makes as refused" when we didn't refuse the delivery. Then they attempted to deliver our shipment to 2 other businesses. Now they transfered it to a different company and it's sitting the a warehouse. They won't release it to us since Day & Ross has it labeled incorrectly for the wrong business and won't assist in any meaningful way to get this sorted out."

Inaccurate tracking. Set up a delivery time, due to signature. did not show up or call to reschedule delivery. Not the first time this has happened with online orders. Horrible client service, costco should be ashamed for contracting Day and Ross.

Don't show up to the drop off time. Impossible to get a hold off on phone. Customer service just gives you the run around, saying they'll call you back. Then never do.Update: Got the package. The driver was a good driver and nice person, working for a not good company

Day and Ross delivered a 100lb box to my house, my pregnant wife asked the lone delivery person to move the box out of the front doorway and off to the side of the front hall. In doing so the delivery person scratched the heck out of our new wood floors. Day and Ross claims department refuses to take responsibility and has gone as far as saying that the driver went “above and beyond”- because they were supposed to leave the package in the front yard. What kind of business operates like this?100lb boxes should not be delivered by a lone driver that is clearly not able to manage that weight without damaging the property they are delivering too. Incompetence from start to finish, I will never be using them again.

GOT TO LOVE ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS FROM EMPLOYEE'S BECAUSE THEY GET PAID REMEMBER THAT YOUR NOT THE CUSTOMER WE AREDay&Ross Winnipeg is one of the worst transport companies in Canada they don't return emails phone calls they constantly lose or misdirect freight. Everytime they call me to pickup my shipment they can't find it or sent it somewhere else. I have an email for shipment that was suppose to arrive Feb-1-23 saying delayed due to closures on highway but my other shipment that came from same area by Manitoulin freight should up on time. Time take legal action for all my time spent and money lost

Terrible terrible terrible. I purchased something from Saskatchewan and my order arrived in Winnipeg on time according to the tracking number. But that’s were everything positive stopped. I wasn’t informed my package and was ready for pick up by Day & Ross. When I called to inquire spent over 45 minutes to find out it’s ready for pick up. Went today to pick them up at 7:30am, an hour later finally left with the package. Got sent to a receiving door, stood outside ignored for 15 minutes, then let in and ignored again for 20 before getting told go back outside and we will bring it out where I waited again. So if you have a good hour to kill for picking up parcels use Day & Ross.

This bandsaw was shipped from Edmonton to Winnipeg. It was upright when it was picked up and looks like it fell over during transport. It's fairly heave and looks like someone used a forklift to try to reposition the box. The packaging had severe damage but luckily the item was not due to the excessive foam packing from the manufacturer.
