Me and my husband came for dinner and I thought it was pretty mediocre. The ambience was nice, waitresses and service was amazing, but the food just wasn’t great. My husband started with the escargot and I had the fresh oysters. He enjoyed his, but I found mine to be bland and not a lot of flavour even with the added extras. For our mains my husband had the beef Wellington and thought it was really good. I got the king crab legs and boy was that a mistake. They were very thin, not much meat and tasted very freezer burnt. It felt like a bag you could have bought in the frozen section of superstore and reheated. They obviously weren’t fresh and I doubt ordered very often. I guess that’s my fault for ordering seafood at a German restaurant. For $75 it was very disappointing. It was still a nice night out and great drinks but I don’t think I’d return.

The staff and facilities were fantastic.Very welcoming and cheerful.Meals were excellent and we were served together, no waits. We ate together…Our server surprised my wife with birthday cake … ;)Evening was worth every dollar!Du must hier essen!

Absolutely delicious food! Never been here before and I have lived in Abbotsford my whole life. Sorely regretting it. Definitely not somewhere with my funds can go often but will definitely celebrate birthdays here!Was super busy but service kept up; did wait on drinks a few times but that's understandable. The server was nice and put up with changing how we wanted the bills numerous times.Definitely would go back!

Absolutely fabulous Chataue Briand for 2.The filet was done perfectly and the table side flambe was a nice touch. Service was excellent and pricing was fair.Deserts had a nice touch as wellWould give 6 stars if I could

Had Father’s Day dinner with family at Bravaria in Abbotsford tonight. Sat from 745pm-2145pm. Restraint was not too busy.Wife had lobster bake, I had blackened chicken and she had a steak with prawns. Our daughter had chicken strips and garlic mash.Let me tell you of our experience. Table had not been cleaned properly and a sticky mess was left behind so we had to ask for a wet cloth so I could scrub it clean and that barely got the patch off.Lobster bake came with a semi melted topping of cheese resting over the lobster. Lobster was buttery and cooked. Cheese was greasy and plastic like.Entrees came, my blackened chicken (which was ordered with extra seasoning) came out with a light busting of Cajun spices and it was a small (200g) butterflied breast sitting on a spoon full of garlic mash. The chicken was cooked but I’ve had cups of water with more spice. Sent it back and asked for a menu to order something else.The wife’s steak was thin, and bland beyond belief, but cooked medium rare. That was sent back as well and what returned was a well seasoned cooked steak that tasted like steak!Our daughters chicken tenders were wonderful albeit on the skinny side but she devoured them and a t 21months old any fed child is a happy child.The server did ask our issues with the food and we explained what they were. My chicken was met with ‘well you just be use to some other Cajun spiced chicken’ before being taken away. I was given a menu and asked once if I had made a decision on what to order as a replacement told her I needed more time and she never came back.For my wife she had the steak taken away and brought back a few minutes later seasoned and cooked to the rare side of medium but it was good.All in all a very sub par experience and after three alcoholic beverages and a $4 glass of milk for my daughter the bill came to 95$. And that’s with my food taken off.36$ for the steak and prawns4$ milk10$ kids plate16$ lobster bake6$ beer9.5$ special drink10$ beerPlus tax.No we won’t be coming here again if we can avoid it. And if we do at least the drinks are good.

At first, the place smell was a little awkward. The service was ok. But it is all about the food! Was really tasty, well seasoned.

This was our first time and already planning on going for the wife's birthday dinner with the family. Went for our anniversary and the service we got was excellent from our server. Her upbeat manner and relaxed tone helped make it super comfy to start our evening. We started with the pretzel which was hot and delish! We ordered the chicken Bavaria schnitzel and a side of snow crab legs and shared the meal. 5 Star! Everything was hot and super tasty. The Lava cake we had was advertised as for 2 and it certainly was. We walked out planning our next outing here and adding it to our go to spots for when our out of towners stop in.

On our last weekend in Abbotsford we decided to dine once more at the Bavaria, we love the atmosphere, the service is great and the food tasty and delicious. I tried the clam chowder and my husband had the lobster bisque as an appetizer, I would have to say it was one of the tastiest clam chowder, it was a special on the menu. For dinner I had the steak and lobster bake with fresh vegetables and my husband had the schnitzel paired with a beautiful red wine that we hadn’t had in a while The Edge. A beautiful evening had at the family run business nestled close to downtown. If you like great food and wonderful service you won’t be disappointed
