Academy of Integrated Martial Arts

My son recently joined the school but has enjoyed all of his classes immensely. He quickly got into the rhythm of the class and how the learning is laid out. He appreciates his teachers and a sense of personal responsibility is encouraged here that helps him reflect on his own learning.

I have gone here for about 8 years now, and am an advanced-brown belt; second to black. Over the course of my years here, I learned discipline, and techniques that I have used in real-world situations. The classes are enjoyable and the environment, as well as the teachers are incredible.

My family has been with the AIMA community for 8 years. It was a great experience through out these years. Mr Chan taught the kids according to their need. He is always there to answer questions and provide frequent feedback. My daughter is a shy little girl when she first started. Mr Chan shows a lot of patience and involve her in classes gradually. She is now a blue belt and proud to demo her skills. I’m glad to see the changes (confident, discipline, respect…) from my kids after training with AIMA. Highly recommended!!!!!

I paid in full last year for my son at his school. I was told I’d get a T-shirt, but never happened. I even followed up via email and was told I’d get one in a week. That was 52 weeks ago. Not happy about that but my kid liked the class. So this year I’m not paying in full.

My family joined AIMA in 2016. My daughter started in the Lil Dragons program when she was 4 and is now at a blue belt level. My son started when he was 7 and now at a brown belt level. I watched as Mr. Chan and his passionate team of instructors teach, discipline and have so much fun with my kids that I joined the Family class to train with my kids as well. AIMA is a family-oriented martial arts school where you can learn not only martial arts and fitness but respect, team work and confidence. Can’t wait to train at their new location.

I have been training with aima for a while now and it's a great environment and system. The head instructor Pak is very knowledgeable and friendly and all the students are respectful and happy to help people learn and grow as martial artists.

I’ve been training at AIMA for almost 11 years now, and can confidently say this school is nothing short of amazing. Mr. Chan teaches with so much passion and love for the art that his classes are both educational and fun. As a first degree black belt, I have the privilege of working with new students and seeing the improvement in their confidence, discipline, and respect from being supported in this environment. The multiple social and fundraising events we run throughout the year not only strengthens the familial atmosphere within the school, but also helps students make new friends.
