Ferme Boreal Farm

My partner and I stayed the night before heading to the spa. It was so cozy and the breakfast was in.cred.i.ble. I have already recommended it to two friends!

I had the extreme pleasure of visiting this wonderful, charmed spot at the behest of a dear friend. From arrival to departure I felt warmly engaged, embraced & appreciated.Purchased a tourtiere that I tell you now is the finest I've ever tasted. The PASTRY--out of this world! It tasted so CLEAN, if I can use the word--the oils & ingredients were clearly top notch. There were elements of phyllo to the structure of the pie crust--so flaky & scrumptious. The filling was ground pork, apples (just the right amount to complement & not over sweeten) & finished with a generous top layer of creamy local chevre--what a delight!!!There are a few more items that I grabbed which I cannot wait to explore as well. The owner, Christa, is an absolute gem. Kindhearted and generous--she's in sync with her purpose & sharing the love!!! I HIGHLY recommend many a visit. Such a treat!

Quiet out of the way shop on a farm. Home made products.. very good. Visit the chickens and goats. Kid friendly. I think they are only open on Saturdays though.

Absolutely go the Boreal Farm! Best eggs. Best treats! Best hostess! Worth the drive if you're in the city.

Everything I've purchased at Boreal Farm has been excellent, in particular the cider-braised pork, apples, and goat cheese pie. Absolutely delicious!

The Boreal Farm is a really worthwhile trip into the rolling hills near the town of Low just north of Wakefield off of Highway 105. The farm is located in a gorgeous setting and the patio restaurant serves sumptuous lunches for any veteran foodie. Christa, the owner, brings all her skills from the kitchen at Les Fougères to her farm to table menu. Check it out!!

Boreal Farm is so lovely! We stopped in over the weekend for the vintage clothing market, and had lunch at the farm store. A beautiful spot, with delicious food :)
