Jean coutu pharmacy in Aylmer Gallerys is one of the best pharmacy in Gatineau. Starting from the huge parking lot to the extra large well organized store.It is not only a pharmacy but it offers numerous services.The laboratory team is always happy to help and the pharmacists give a superb service. They take care of you and in a continuous communication with your doctor. There is also a very talented nurse who offers different services.It is not only a pharmacy as it offers other services and products like post canada , cosmotics , small kitchen appliances, photo services and many seasonal items.I definitely recommend it.

Only nice things to say about this pharmacy! The staff is always very kind and patient, and I've had particularly good experiences with the lab technicians - Helena especially is consistently understanding and accommodating, outstandingly friendly and provides top notch service!

May 2020 UPDATE:Finally decided to find a better pharmacy. Brunet on 795 Bd Wilfrid-Lavigne. I just called to transfer my file to them. They asked me why and I told them how disorganized and incompetent JC is. They informed me that many people transfer to Brunet from JC in the Galeries for the same reasons.Brunet have 4.6 stars on Google Reviews so I'm going to give them a chance. Not likely that they can be worse that Jean Coutu Aylmer.JC Aylmer - Pharmacists, front line staff - none of them know what they are doing. Horribly disorganized - all of them.- They call to say prescriptions are ready, they are not - constantly- They call to tell me they have a delivery for me - I did not ask for one- They receive a fax from my family doctor, they can't see in the system but it's right in front of them- There's barely anyone in the store and you still need wait even when they called you to say it was ready~September 2021Go elsewhere if you can. Read the other comments. There are so many times where they failed over the last 2+ years. This last time, I was the ONLY person in the waiting area and it still took 20 minutes to pick up a pre-ordered phone in prescription. I find that staff are either not trained to be efficient or often simply lack basic common sense. Cashiers sitting idle at one cash while another has a line up. The idle ones can't help and just point you to the line up and so many other issues. You are allowed to transfer your file to another pharmacy. I am going to do this soon - I suggest you do it too if you are unhappy.

Amazing pharmacy! Switched over all my prescriptions to this pharmacy and I’ve had great experience. Ahmed, the head pharmacist is super helpful and really knows his stuff.

Staff get the job done but are cold/robotic in their interactions. Very slow to fill medication.I am the only one waiting and it’s been 25 minutes.

Unless I'm not using the website properly, it would appear that it is French only. Somerhing as fundamental as health services should be aavailable in both French and English.

In the 7 months since needing to be tube fed, this pharmacy has made EIGHT mistakes. SeverL times they didn’t get the formula when they were supposed to, and now there is an issue with the tubes themselves for the second time. It’s ridiculous for ANY business to make so many errors, it a PHARMACY! people’s lives are at stake! I’m giving this a one star review, because a negative number of stars isn’t an option.This review was written by Matt’s partner, Frank. I had called the pharmacy twice in regards to errors made. The second time was within the last week or two. You’d think they’d get their act together. How many other people are they making mistakes with? Surely we’re not the only one.

I hadn't been to this pharmacy in almost 10 years, so all my info was out of date. They quickly helped me update it, and explained my new medication. Very friendly and super helpful. All the different numbered stations make things simple and quick. I was in and out in 5 minutes!

Seems there this pharmacy does not care about the health of its customers much... When I complained about a staff member putting chocolate bars directly ON THE FLOOR before putting them on shelves - a floor upon which many had walked on already before and was not clean to boot, I was laughed at by a staff member telling me that this was not against health regulations because they were packaged ! Well, if you want to buy contaminated surfaces' chocolate go there and help yourself ! You are welcome to get all the germs from the floor on the cover to eat your delicious chocolate by contaminating your hands first! Get this: NO grocery store which RESPECTS the health of the public would put ANY wrapped food directly on the floor - be it meat, canned goods, packaged veggies, chocolates or ANYTHING else ! So WHY would a pharmacy tell me this is OK ? I complained to management after I told the employee this was wrong and the employee CONTINUED to leave the chocolates on the floor even after that... So, I took a picture folks... here it is... in living colour... chocolates on the left of the employee (and more were in front of him which you cannot see...). Laughing matter ? I am having the LAST laugh by making this PUBLIC and I am OWED an apology for being ridiculed for pointing this out ! If I could have put NO STARS on this rating, I definitely would have ! When the pandemic started, this was one of the first pharmacies who was NON-compliant in ensuring / enforcing the wearing of masks when it was implemented by the government. When a maskless customer was walking around in there and I complained, they laughed and did NOTHING ! Way to go Jean Coutu, keep up the poor record... I do not feel my concerns are addressed nor do I feel safe there... I am shopping ELSEWHERE from now on !

Very slow service! Always waiting every time even when calling in advance. They never respect the estimated time they offered.Edited: one again their incompetence strikes again. Didn’t bother calling me to advise me my medication was in back order for at least a week. Had to tell them to send my request to another location so I can pick it up the same day. This location always have different employees every time I goes. It shows nobody knows what they are doing.
