The Pawn Shop YVR Taco Bar
Stopped at this taco bar in downtown Van and enjoyed myself, which isn’t normal for Canadian Mexican food. It’s more of bar vibe, but it works. The tacos were pretty good, a tad too much sauce, but the carnitas were tasty. Seems like a great place to meet friends for some beers and a bite.

Juiciest and most flavorful tacos I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten my fair share where I’m from in southern California). I’ve only ever been here during the day, so can’t speak to the night time vibe, but during the day, it’s super chill and easy to get service. Plus with the Happy Hour prices, it would be foolish to get tacos and drinks anywhere else. Love this place! Will be back here each time I visit Vancouver.

We are visiting from Hobart, Australia. We were walking downtown looking for somewhere to eat and we were drawn into the restaurant because of its fabulous atmosphere. We loved the food choices and it did not disappoint. Food and service was so good we returned for a second night in a row. A special thanks to James and Angel for the best night. P. S. Happy hour made it even better.

First experience here, and it was pretty amazing. Good atmosphere, cheap tacos and cheap tequila! Happy hour tacos are the greatest idea of all time. Great vibes and a fun time. Would definitely come back next time

This place takes Taco Tuesday and happy hour to another level.Randomly came to this place on a Tuesday night because Mango nearby was charging $5 for salsa night.This place had all day happy hour with $5 drink specials + $2.50 tacos on a Tuesday. It was also a vibe with a DJ. Their tacos were a bit small, but made for a good late night snack. I got 2 house lagers + 4 tacos for $20 before tax and tips!Would recommend for a great time on a Tuesday and would come back!

Amanda’s service was extremely poor and she was unfriendly. We had to repeatedly flag down other servers to order food and drinks. The place wasn’t even 1 quarter full so not sure why her service was almost nonexistent, but, did she have time to be on her phone - sure. We thought 15$ was a bit much for guacamole and chips.

Great spot for late night snack and drinks. Tatter tots were tasty but the tacos were a bit small, I think I had maybe 2 pieces of cauliflower in one of my tacos. Nonetheless great vibes, huge tequila selection and would go back.
