North Quadra Urgent and Primary Care Centre

I visited the Quadra Urgent Care this morning. After a week of dealing with another Urgent Care and 2 trips to the ER I was able to get through via telephone this morning to their receptionist. A nurse called me back within 5 minutes and took down all my information in detail and booked me in same day. Upon arrival, I was treated with respect, kindness and empathy for my current health issues. The doctor took his time with explaining my medical situation and also set up a follow up by week’s end. I can’t say enough about this medical facility. I had been under such duress and they made me feel calm again. Thank you to their wonderful staff for this truly positive experience. You are all doing great work and thank you for being an option when there aren’t any.‘

Both times I've been to NQUC I've seen an RN and they were very knowledgeable, took the time to explain plus answer my questions. Very grateful to have this clinic near-by.

Took our daughter here for the first time today and everyone was so good with her. Organized and friendly staff, our daughter even got a little “Bravery Award” to make it a positive experience all around.

What a great place! Everyone was so friendly & helpful; shoutout to Nurse Trisha & Dr Edwards! Dr Edwards took the time to review test results with me & I appreciated that. Since I no longer have a family Dr, I feel like my health is in good hands once again. Thank you all!

The receptionists, nurse and doctor were amazing, super nice and very knowledgeable. One downside, trying to get an appointment may be difficult but this doesn’t take away from the excellent service!

During several visits last fall, the receptionist and nurses were very helpful despite a heavy workload. All three doctors I saw were very good, correctly diagnosing a kidney stone problem and possible infection, and taking time to answer all questions regarding treatment. On a visit for a second health issue, a skin cyst, the doctor was exceptionally helpful and empathetic, taking extra time to follow up on my prior visit and also thoroughly explain the condition.

Everyone was very kinda and helpful. It’s always very difficult to get in to see my GP so I have found the clinic very helpful. The nurses, doctors, ambassadors, and receptionists were very cheerful and happy to help. Definitely a great place to go! 10/10 recommend!! ❤️

Since I don’t have a family doctor and it’s hard to get into a walk in clinic most of the time, I’ve been seeing other health professionals to meet my needs. I usually only go to a walk in clinic if I absolutely have to. Unfortunately, I was in need of a medical doctor to sign some papers so that I get paid from work for the last few weeks of my 6 month medical leave I’ve been on. They charge me $173 to sign 2 papers. I talk to some other people about this who have gone to the same clinic and had the exact same papers signed and were only charged $50.On top of that, the doctor I saw for 3 mins wanted to change the program I was in for the past 4 months. I mention that I can connect him with the other professionals I’m working with or get letters from them regarding my treatment and process and he said “That won’t help me”. I was pretty upset. So now I’ve paid $173 for a document I’m not even going to use.I spoke with some of my other health professionals about my situation (I should’ve done this the first time, so my fault) and connected me with another doctor who communicate them the program I was on. This doctor then filled out my forms for FREE because they felt bad that I was put in a bad situation.We need more family doctors who care. Our healthcare system is on the brink of collapsing.

After calling around several medical clinics and two other urgent care centres, I was able to get in despite them being fully booked for the day, as I had a cut that may or may not have required sutures. The staff were so kind and the room was ready for me even though I arrived early. The nurse, Christine, was so sweet. She really helped keep me calm despite the fact that I was in a heightened state from what happened. Dr. Pickersgill was also so kind as well. I live in Vancouver and was heading home that evening, to add on to the stress and wish they were both here, as I have never experienced care like that before.
