Fraserburg United Church

Historic...Built 1884-85. Land donated by the Hamilton Family. Built by the resident of the community of Fraserburg and with their own money from crops, lumber etc. Total cost $186.26.THE student minister Malcom Bethune, (father of Norman Bethune) rode down on Saturdays, on horse a buggy from Basville crossing the Muskoka River (still to be identified by the flat rocks crossing it.)You may contact the cheethams for info.for weddings, baptisms or opening services as it is seasonal. Old fashion church with amall congregation lovely service threw the summer months i a very peaceful setting.
