Motel 6 Brandon, MB

Not expensive but great service and good quality clean rooms. They also have complimentary breakfast which has variety of items available. You can have bagels, sandwiches, omelletes, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee, waffles, etc. You get member discount as well. Highly recommended.

Rooms, lobby, and motel in general were clean + bright. Staff were all friendly, it’s also pet friendly which was a bonus as I was travelling with my cat. Due to covid protocols the breakfast is different than usual, but still free, a nice little breakfast of a muffin, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee + juice are also available. My only complaint was I was on the ground floor (as per my own request), but there were quite a few small ants in my room. Otherwise, I had a great stay and will stay again.

Book these redesigned hotel6's. Simple, clean and great. I have randomly booked these after unexpected long days and had low expectations and have been super surprised. Don't let the great price deter you, in fact I would pay more than they charge compared to other shabby chains. They have a crisp Ikea like layout. As i travelled accross Canada 5 times during covid, i am shocked at many of the well known brand name hotels, dirty carpets, old furnishings at a higher price. This is my second Motel6 experience, they rock a simple elegant room that immediately look like they can keep them clean ( linoleum floors no old stuffed chairs) with simple modern furnishing. My husky likes it too, no weird extra charges hidden fees.

We call while traveling and easily booked a room. The room was nice and clean but the flooring was chipped and needed to be changed. Beds were very comfy other then the 4 tiny square pillows it was.My one problem was the ac was on super low and you could not adjust it. I tried everything button and nothing worked.The free breakfast is always great!Other then that we would stay again.

Yut was quick and helpful when we called late to see if they could accommodate us (humans and foster pups). He held us a room and was welcoming of the dogs (the hotel I phoned in the town before was appalled by the thought of having us stay when I mentioned foster pups). Thank you for welcoming us (humans and dogs).

Quite nice for a budget hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking for large vehicles. McDonald's (if you want to do that to your body) is a 3 minute walk , less if your willing to take a shortcut. Another minute or two gets you to a gas station/convenience store. Nice sized TV with many kinds of aux ports on a front mounted panel for easy access to plug in your laptop/devices. The bathroom is a bit oddly shaped (like other motel 6 I have been to), and the toilet paper is a bit awkward to get to, as a result. I mentioned to the front desk that the diverter for the shower was not hooked up, so I could only take a bath. While I was telling them,, another fellow in the breakfast room called out that his was the same. My other co workers had the same issue, so I'm guessing the entire building doesn't have them hooked up. So you can only bathe, not shower, it seems.Overall was a good experience.There was an amateur hockey team there when we were there and I was concerned about the noise. Never heard a peep out of them though. Most respectful young boys I have encountered in my 15 years on the road.

Nice and clean. Decor modern but lacks a bit of coziness. Add a heavy blanket to the bed and it will be great.
