Please avoid supporting this company. They are constantly in volition of Section 74.05 of the Competition Act which prohibits the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price. This has been brought to the attention of their management and their response to this was “our prices changed from what you saw on the sticker” or “whatever the scanner says is what it is”.

Excellent service, good quality fruits and vegetables, convenient location for local residents, surprisingly wide range of selection for relatively small grocery store.

Decent selection of essentials, fruits and vegetables decent but erratic in quality. The biggest problem with this establishment brings to light the true nature of Toronto. It's more than expensive, it's for the haves not the have nots.

The deli workers are rude and dismissive. The old lady that wears a hat, a plain boring face, can't smile at all until another white lady came around, was very racist with an unpleasant attitude.I wouldn't recommend the sandwiches at this place or fast food to go. It's all stuff they can't sell. Gross, that they are trying to make a profit off of garbage food that should be thrown away.I gave this place too many chances. I think some of these reviews seem fake, because the actual establishment is not what these reviews claim. Deli food is supposed to be fresh, not stuff you cannot sell.Every time I bought and opened up a sandwich it was disgusting and mushy. Meat dark brown and stinks. The meat is obviously old meat that they can't sell mixed with a few new pieces. The sandwiches are wrapped tight and everything is smashed together. This place is a NO for me.Between the bad service at the deli, gossipy and yappy, chubby cashier who is unprofessional with an attitude, and bin food, no thanks. The forest hill location is not worth visiting at all. There is much better quality food in Toronto.

After having a bad experience with cheese that tasted like the inside of a fridge, I resolved to only buy fully-sealed products here. I bought some bagged milk today that tastes off (like it had been frozen). For the premium price they charge, the products are often expired or otherwise not fit for consumption. Avoid!!

I have to agree with a lot of comments above - this store is close by so I really want it to work, but on way too many occasions I've brought groceries home and they were expired (even though the sticker didn't indicate that) or had some issue that I couldn't see at the store until I got home and opened the item. I've wasted so much money at this place. I have never shopped somewhere where the grocery items were so consistently poor quality. As others here have mentioned, their price tags are so often incorrect and they refuse to honour their advertised prices. I've found some of the baked goods up front with mold on them. I've showed the employees expired items that were out on the shelves, only to watch them turn around and put the item right back on the shelf. The cashiers rarely say hello when they're serving you, I often say hello first and wait for them to reply and just look at them waiting for some sign of life, and they just refuse. It's all around a horrible experience, and so unbelievably overpriced to boot. I NEVER write reviews, but I had to come see if anyone else was having the same experience and in fact they are. The icing on the cake was a small chocolate that I purchased yesterday, opened on my walk home, and found it to be covered with a white film, a sign that it was super old. Stupid me ate it anyway thinking how bad can an old chocolate be, and who knows what the cause really was, but became violently ill hours after. Never again coming to this store, or at least until new management takes over and breathes some life into the place.

So, along with their over priced groceries, their return policy is flawed. I tried to return tea bags that were under a month old, completely sealed mind you, and the store manager told me to go return them at loblaws. This is not how you provide customer service. She told me its because of covid. And i repeat, the tea bag boxes are totally sealed and were perfectly resellable. Aswell, like any other boxed item thats returned, the could easily just wipe the tea boxes down. Please, i urge you to stay away from this store or shop with caution.

It's just down the street and we often get produce and seasonal flowers there. Vegetables and fruit are always fresh and the staff very helpful. No complaints rather a compliment to a great place to shop!

I like shopping at the Kitchen Table. The fruit and vegetables, that they carry are superior in quality and taste to most chain stores and are usually reasonably priced . .Even their sandwiches are palatable and fresh. They stock delicious cherry tomatoes that I can’t find elsewhere. etc etc.The staff’s helpful and courteous. It’s a small store feel and a pleasure to shop at.

Of course there’s a premium price for the convenience, but overall it’s an excellent store. They’ve also been quite good at taking back any items that I’ve had go off prematurely. Very happy this place exists!
