My most recent bad experience was that I made a special order for 35mm film to get a few put aside, and they never called me back. I walked in a month and a half later to find that the film had came in and they simply ignored my special order.Their customer service is lacking to say the least.Most of the male staff have a very cold and dry attitude towards new customers. Sometimes even avoiding eye contact while they speak to you. Although the female staff seem to be more welcoming and accommodating.When I shared my customer experience with a good friend of mine who has been renting at Photo Service for years, she confirmed with me that her photo assistant's (who would go in the return gear) expressed having the same experiences regarding customer service, a dry attitude and sometimes borderline rude. And yet when she goes in her self, she gets great service.

Very poor customer service!!!I asked the guy if he can open the box of the flash diffusers so I can make sure those were the ones I needed“he was like we’re not opening things here now” of course I didn’t end up buying it! compared to other Montreal camera stores the customer service was terrible!!

I came in today and was immediately greeted hello (this is a good thing). I came to purchase something but I also wanted to browse. I was greeted again and asked if I needed help by a couple of employees but not in an aggressive way, they let me browse. It is nice to be treated this way and know they are there when you need them. When I asked for the item I wanted to buy, Jean Charles was quick and professional. My interaction at the cash with Diane was also very pleasant. This is not the first time doing business here and each time has been a good experience even when I didn't make a purchase. I will definitely be back!

I went to take a passport picture around one month ago. I needed a copy and only had the digital format sent. The people working there are awesome! They help me to print it from the digital format in a few minutes. Great service, o recommend them 100%

I came in to get my first big boy camera. I did all the research and knew exactly what model I wanted. And they had it in stock. I was super pumped. The counter man treated me like a flight risk. I left deflated and resentful. Just go anywhere else. There is no joy here.

Best place ever, staff is really nice and they have everything you need if you're starting photography or even if you're a pro. Really not expensive compared to big places like lozeau, they often have things on sale and they have a student discount which is awsome. The only complain I could give is that one of my lens that I bought there was a bit dirty inside but no worries, they offered to fix it up for me.Update a few years later: This place is still great and probably the best place I could ever recommended. I wished the student discounts were a bit better but other then that the staff has a huge amount of experience and are very friendly. Still 5 stars for me!

Excellent service. Great communication with Daniel and Jean-Charles Hubert regarding the purchase of a Lowepro camera bag. Good Express Post service to Ontario with tracking number. Arrived in perfect condition. Will purchase again from these professionals.

This store has been around for ever. I used to go there when I was in my teens (over 50 years ago). Staff is extremely knowledgeable in everything photography or video. They sell/rent photo/video and studio equipment. Photography classes are also available. Great store.
