Sunset Shores Resort

The location on the water was nice, but the cost was out of this world, $56, for a no hook-up tenting site. This isn't the place to stay for just a night. This a place full of people on vacation, mostly seasonal people, so lots of noise. The washrooms, although nice, weren't clean and were quite a ways from the tenting site. Don't recommend staying here.

We stayed over the Canada day long weekend and were surprised to find out that they were holding a fireworks event. It was amazing! a 40 minute fireworks show! The park itself and beach were wonderful, and the restaurant apparently just opened as well. The menu itself was tiny but the pho noodles were amazing. Looking forward to coming back!

We had mixed experience here. We have been twice, the first time was a bit of a mess but the second was great.The boathouse is really quite nice. The beach is ok, nice a shallow for younger kids. The food on offer is amazing.Some hiccups in reservations put a damper on things.We will likely try it again next season though.

We were in a serious pinch as every room in Suult Ste Marie was booked. We were given a tip and called Sunset. They were so accommodating and helpful. The little waterfront cabin (#5) was rustic. Big fridge, stove and oven, utensils, a bunk room that sleeps 3 ( we did not use) and a decent double bed. We used a small space heater during the time we were up. Hot shower, table to seat three plus couch. Lovely little deck that also serves the adjoining cabin. The cabin was clean and comfy. Great for an overnight or for some days right on a beach in a small bay.

Easily the most fun, and involved community wise campground I have had the pleasure of being at.Something for all in the family, friends to be found for all ages and memories that absolutely will be carried forever ❤️Trailers aren't too close together , the forest parts have been untouched and as much foliage is beautifully left .Room for all the toys on your lot and plenty of parking spaceOwners who are truly involved , and so kind!Check it out if only to swim for a day and play on the bouncy things in Lake Superior off the beach.

The view of sunset is gorgeous, but cabin’s kitchen needs more improvement. The freezer has covered completely with frost.It seems someone/stuff took away the reminding logs (that we didn’t use last night) when we were out today. Lock your stuff if you don’t want to lose them!!

This is our second year renting cabins for a few nights with multiple families. I would highly recommend for group gatherings, especially for families with babies and toddlers who need to nap or go to bed early. The beach is so close and the cabins are all close together that all of our baby monitors were able to reach for the parents to get together for a fire after the kids went to bed. The Beach is perfect for young children - Sandy and shallow. The inflatables are great for kids (and parents too). Would love to see some swings and playground equipment in the park, but the kids had fun at the beach and riding around the campground on their bikes. Owners were very helpful and wanted to make sure that everything was in good order for us.

Nice campground but the showers where disgusting and the ATV traffic never stopped real annoying would not come back.
