I look forward to my next top chop at The Refinery with the same palpable anticipation I had for the movie remake of Miami Vice, only The Refinery actually delivers. Every. Time.From humble beginnings in the heart of Sud Town, OGs Will and Kayla have expanded their wings and the team in the new shop and it crackles with good vibes and even better hair. I’d go even if the cuts weren’t so darn fine, as my suburban dad cred gets a boost every time I settle into the chair and great conversation.Silver-scissored troubadour Will has built something much bigger than himself—like a towering, majestic pompadour made with pomade, sweat equity, community and love. An inimitable quartet of talented melon ballers, you’ll be better for every cut and style.

The atmosphere was cool and the cut was okay - I say 'okay', because I attempted to show what I wanted with a photo and the barber refused to even humor me and look. Needless to say I didnt get what I wanted because he didnt seem willing to work with me. Instead doing what he wanted.If you dont care what the barber gives, you this may be a fine place but if you want something specific, I'd avoid it. Especially for the cost of it.

This is my favourite place to get a haircut in Sudbury, and I've been to a lot of the barbershops here. The receptionist is so nice and funny and my barber, Will, was a cool dude who's good at his job and is good vibes. It's probably not for you if you're looking for a traditional barbershop but for me it was perfect.

Best Barber I've ever gone to. Will is an awesome dude and gave me the freshest cut I've ever had! Best haircut place in Sudbury...they also have cute dogs that greet you!

Not a fan. New customer. Parking? Who knew till you got to the door. They were 15 min late. Mini dogs not reeled in. Could have been allergic or not liked them. Price comparison is good. A sin cuz the barber was good. Will not rtn, owner did not seem to care about customer service. So I will not be missed.

This place is amazing! Took my son who has special needs here for his haircut for his grade 8 grad. The guys here are awesome.The shop is clean and cool. The haircut was perfect. Highly recommend to everyone!

I was very impressed being a first time customer of The Refinery. Leslie cut my hair and she did fantastic. The atmosphere with Will, Isabelle and the layout made you feel very comfortable. Absolutely I am going back again!

Barbers don’t get much better than Kayla. Great fades every time. Even Better conversations. Can’t reccomended her enough
