I bought a groupon for a facial at this salon right near my home in Steveston village. Best deal in town! 3for $100 and I also the microdermabrasion package. I love it!!! I was always scared to try because of the name. My face is so soft afterwards. Love this place. Very reasonable

What a disaster! I am leaving for a big, once in a lifetime trip with my hubby to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and decide to have a few things ‘done’ before I go. Well big mistake going to this spa! I had some unwanted facial hair removed which set off a chain reaction rash all over my upper lip and chin. I also had booked in for gel nails, pedicure and eyebrow tint. I was told it was a two hour appointment but when I get there I was only booked in for the gel nails. No I say I cant come back another day so the poor aesthetician who is left trying to fit all my treatments into the one hour given. I could feel her panic so I felt very nervous and not relaxed as I had expected. She didn’t have time to put polish on so I left without pretty toes or nails. Yes she gave me a discount but that’s not really the point. And then in her panic has made my eyebrows so dark I am actually embarrassed! My husband doesn’t quite know what to say as he knows I will likely burst into tears if he says anything negative. I am so unhappy and will never go back there again. Sorry this is for the Steveston location not the Minoru one.

Would not honour a Groupon even though the last person i had talked to said I could use it. Next time I wanted to go a new lady talks to me and tells me I can't use it and calls me a liar that there would never be someone who would tell me that. HORRIBLE SERVICE and very insulting. not good service. WOULD NOT RECOMMED.if I could zero stars I would.

I had the chamomile collagen today from sherry and it was great! She was very skilled and made me very relaxed.Reading some of the other comments, I don't think the staff is lazy because they usually only have one technician in the store most of the time. If they are with clients, they won't pick up the phone. Use the online form to make an appointment. Mary will always call you and confirm. It's a small local business so cut them some slack!

I pre purchased a facial package and booked an appointment for May 23rd at 11am, I have a card with the service and the date of the appointment written for me from the lady who booked the appointment. I arrived for my appointment and the salon was closed. I stood outside knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell for 15 minutes before leaving. Im a new mom with a 2 month old so getting someone to watch her and organizing this appointment for myself took quite a bit of pre planning and it was extremely disappointing to have made an arrangement with such an unprofessional business. I finally spoke with Shelly and requested a refund for the packaged that I had prepurchased. She said she would have to talk to her manager. I hadn’t heard anything a week later so I called again and spoke to Shelly who said she would talk to her manager that day.... it has been two days now and I still haven’t heard from anyone. I have made a complaint with the better business bureau. I do not recommend this salon, they are extremely unprofessional.

Had a very good experience with Debora!Even though the girl on the phone when i was booking couple of weeks ago seemed like she never has heard of a customer service and how she is supposed to talk with potential clients on the phone.Beside this i was very satisfied with the service that i received today and relying on that would go there again.

I purchased a package that is normally offered to you on your first treatment for dermabrasion. I find blank(?) very rough with my skin that left marks, like scabs or wound on the same day. Was very painful after. I am sorry but will not be back any longer nor recommend to a friend. My skin looks awful now.
