Have always had a good experience at this subway until tonight…..my fiancé and I got 3 subs, my daughters was fine, but his and mine made us both sick! We can’t even finish our subs. When I called and talked to the restaurant, they told me it was impossible for the meat to be bad! Our sandwiches had a funny smell to them, so I’m just assuming the meat is bad. Not happy at all, especially to be told it’s impossible!!!!!!! Definitely will NOT be going back there.

The food quality isn't what it used to be, but is still good. The owners need to improve cleanliness by having someone clean tables, and sweep/mop.

Portion sizes substandard. When customer asked for veggies worker curtly belittled customer. Stating they would not give more. Rice bowl 1/4 full. When asked for my husbands subs veggies on the side we were refused. Worst service and food I have ever encountered with subway (I generally eat subway 5x/week elsewhere).We will never stop in Bancroft again and support this business, Subway should embarrassed to have this store franchised to these owners.

We eat here alot and never had any complaints till tonight.$40 for 2 cold cuts and and 1 turkey, each were foot longs.There was no meat on the the 3 subs. There was only 3 thin slices of meat, barley any toppings we requested. Order baccon on the one and you use to get you 2 strips on each side of your sub not now, it is only 1 piece each side. Very upset with the price and the lack of meat.Friendly service though.

This is the worst Subway by far. We just moved here from Peterborough Ont. The Subway there is great!! Here they act like the toppings are coming out of their pay cheques. Especially Fenil. You ask for more spinach. (More then the 4 leaves he put on and he literally adds 2 more leaves) it's so brutal we only get Subway in Peterborough now...like they don't make enough $$$

I would have given this establishment a full five stars except for one issue.First, let me say that the owners have renovated and updated the entire interior during the pandemic. The update was absolutely needed, and especially so with regard to the washrooms. I have been using this as a place to get a quick lunch for years now when passing through Bancroft on business.The ingredients are fresh and comparable to any other Subway in Canada or the USA which I have visited many during my travels.The service is great and staff is always super friendly.The dining area was clean (floor, all tables and chairs, and the garbage area) on my last visit with all the tables neat and tidy as well. The new seats are also comfortable and the atmosphere quiet and cool to relax in.The only issue I had was with the cleanliness of the washroom I visited after being on the road for over 6hrs. The toilet was left unflushed, the handle was partly broken off of it, and the floor was wet and dirty. Not exactly inviting nor an appetizing way to start a meal break.For the record, I have found this establishment to be the best place to grab a quick, affordable, and tasty lunch in Bancroft.

This is the best subway I have ever been too. The staff are professional and friendly and the produce is always fresh and well prepped.I am not the sort of person who takes time out of his day to comment on a subway but after the fourth stop in over a period of months, I know it is not a coincidence that the food and experience slap every time. This is a well run team and they deserve the recognition.
