Teacherspet Pet Retreat

I was anxious about boarding our 2.5 year old dog, Otis, for the first time, as he’s a nervous guy in new situations and takes his time to warm up to other dogs. After doing research on reputable kennels, Teacher’s Pet immediately went to the top of my list. First off, they were very responsive and answered all of my questions about boarding. They also explained how they would ease Otis into the environment to ensure he has a great stay.When it came time to board, they updated me on his progress throughout the weekend and even sent me photos. While he did take a couple days to get adjusted to the kennel environment, he loved his playtime with the staff and even made new dog friends! He was a happy and tired dog when we brought him home from all of that playing!Their compassion, knowledge, patience, and clear love for animals is evident and made me feel very comfortable. We have Otis booked in next month while we are on vacation and I feel so much better knowing he’s with the Teacher’s Pet staff! If you care about your pets, definitely take them here.

Our pup spent half a day here. She was super happy - and tires after. She must had a very good time there. LOL. Jessica was super professional and gave us a tour since we are going to be boarding our dog here for a few weeks. Place is well kept and clean. All the dogs seems happy and are in great condition.

These folks obviously love pets. Our 2 dogs came home after a two day stay(their first at a boarding facility) full of life and very happy. Dogs do smile after all. They must have had lots of playtime because they slept almost all the next day. Facility is top notch-staff is knowledgeable and professional. Not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. Very pleased with this initial experience.

Absolutely incredible experience having them watch my two high energy pups while I was at work. Very easy to work with and all the staff delivered great care. Would continue indefinitely if I wasn’t moving away! If you’re new to the area like I was, definitely check them out!

We were heading away for the weekend and we were unable to take our two dogs to our regular pet sitter. We were recommended to try and see if there was availability here. We called same day we were leaving and they were able to do some rearranging to fit both pups in! Will definitely be bringing our dogs back here and will be recommending this retreat to friends and family! They also have the cutest cat that greets you!!

Can’t recommend Teachers Pet Retreat enough! They took extraordinary care of our cats and even sent pictures to us when my child was missing her feline friends! Thank you Jess!!

We boarded our cat at Teacherspet over the Christmas holidays. We were impressed with how accommodating they were, especially when we had to keep changing our travel plans and departure date because of the bad weather. Their prices are very reasonable! We will definitely board our cat with them the next time we need their services.

Teachers Pet Retreat is the absolute BEST! We have had negative experiences with boarding/day care in the past before we found TPR. Joanne and the staff are so great with our pups. They are attentive, and aware of the needs of each of our dogs. I don't trust many people to watch our dogs and I never have any concerns or worries leaving them here. So thankful for Joanne and all of the staff!

To say that Joanne and Jessica love and care for our precious miniature dachshunds Moose and Vegas as their very own is a huge understatement. They are absolutely amazing, Moose and Vegas LOVE them and we are so, so grateful for EVERYTHING they do for us!!!If your fur babies are everything to you, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Teacher's Pet!!!
