I am sorely disappointed and frustrated with Battat’s customer service after an unimpressive email exchange today. Two Christmas’s ago I purchased the B. Toys teepee magical lights tent for my son. We have since added to our family and and our daughter equally enjoys the tent and the light. In our recent move to a new home we broke the light. I reached out to Battat today to order a replacement light (at my expense) . They first asked me to submit details to them to process a claim. I explained I no longer had the receipt as it was purchased a year and a half ago at which point I was advised they could not replace the light as it was out of warranty. Well, I do appreciate the offer to replace it for free however I had inquired about purchasing the replacement part. At this point I was told that they offer replacements free of charge and are not set up to do such thing and cannot help me. I expressed my frustration at that point advising the toy was essentially garbage to us at that point as the kids enjoy the light – and requested to speak with a manager. I received a reply at this point stating I was speaking to a manager and they were – quote “unfortunately unable to assist you with a new light. The Teepee itself is still functional and we are surprised that you would wish to throw it out. We understand and appreciate that you wish to pay for a new lantern, however we only give away our parts and are not set up to charge our guests.”I have a major issue with this. How can a large and popular company such as Battat not be set up to charge a customer for a replacement part if one wishes to purchase it? Children have toys for longer than 1 year or a “warranty period” Kids break toys. Or in our case accidents happen and sometimes parts need to be replaced. I am sorry but I will not go out to repurchase an entirely new teepee because of a broken light. The fact that I cannot replace a part :outside of warranty” because you are not set up to charge a customer for it is ludicrous. After this experience and learning that I apparently cannot replace broken parts I will not be purchasing any toys from Battat in the future. I am sorry but this is not good customer service nor is it good business practice. Your company should have the ability to replace parts for larger or more costly toys at a cost to the consumer when we reach out to you and are willing to cover the cost.

I’m very disappointed with the employment practices of this company. None of my hard earned money will be spent here, and I will tell my friends and family members to stay away from this business.

Don’t work there!! Bad management, you’re always multitasking and doing things that are not from your department. I would like to say more

they don't value good designers, they just let them go. THEY JUST LET THEM GO...At least contact candidates who apply and send design portfolios

My 2 year old lost 2 pieces of his crane truck made by BATTAT. He was devastated. I took a chance and contacted them to see if they would sell me the parts. They quickly sent me a diagram and said to let them know which parts I needed; they told me that only the one was available for replacement and that is was on its way in the mail. I was thrilled. But my son and I were beside ourselves when we discovered they mailed us a complete new crane truck, brand new in the box, not just the replacement part!!!! How amazing. I have never had any company let alone one that makes children's toys do something so thoughtful and generous. We will forever recommend your toys, and will be buying them for a very long time to come for our children, family and friends. Thank you!!

Bad managment . They dont know what graphic design is about

I received a 4 wheel for my 3yr old grandson. Its almost to small for him, but he loves it! He's been on it everyday since he's gotten it. Its made well, very sturdy. I would definitely get more products from them.

I have changed my post here to this new status for those who read it...I had an issue with the order at first but their customer service rep contacted me and sorted it all out beyond my expectations. I am quite happy with Maison Battat Inc. and B. Toys now and will be purchasing more of their toys for our grandchildren. Sometimes things go wrong and consumers need to reach out but it is admirable when companies come to the table to resolve them!

This company really stands behind their product. Kid broke the trash can that came with the garbage truck and I reached out to purchase a new pair. They sent me a new pair for free. Thank you. Really recommend this brand.
