Darbar Grill Indian Restaurant
My husband and I ate a late lunch here today, after I'd seen a recommendation from a local food blogger. We eat Indian food regularly, and have done so for many years. We started the meal with the stuffed paneer pakora - hot, fresh, flavourful; and an excellent portion. My husband said that the butter chicken was the best he's ever had, and I'd have to agree. We also tried the bhaingan bartha and chicken tikka masala - both were outstanding. The garlic naan we ordered was delicious, and the keema naan was unreal. On top of all that the service from the friendly and welcoming owner was top notch. We drove from the Southside, and it was well worth the trip. I see us being back often.

This Indian restaurant provided us with great quality food and amazing service. They were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions of gluten & dairy free, and even provided us with chickpea naan instead (first ever Indian restaurant that we found). Thank you to the owners and chefs, we will definitely be back.

Amazing service, food and great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant, the butter chicken and taking the manager's recommendations. We tried a lot of new things and loved them. The cauliflower was amazing!!

Darbar Grill Indian Restaurant
Lived in Canada for 20 years and this is easily the best Indian food I've eaten. Wonderful flavours and the quality of the ingredients was first class. On top of that it's much cheaper than other Indian restaurants we regularly visit.Location is a bit sketchy so we were a little apprehensive but the place is extremely clean, food was fantastic and the chef was extremely welcoming. This is definitely our new 'go to' for Indian food.

Nice and good experience there. Service was amazing and the food was super delicious. Enjoyed all the three meals we had there and the prices are also fair. This was my first time and will be definitely going back there soon. Surely i will recommend this place to anyone for the best experience and great Indian food

Food was very delicious .. considering the quality, the price is reasonable .if u are tea lover, must have masala chai. The staff made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Highly recommend. !

My first time ordering here. I ordered takeout. Food was done in a reasonable time and quality was beyond expectations. Hole in the wall restaurant but it is hands down the best Indian food I have had in Edmonton since moving here 3.5 years ago. I ordered butter chicken (spicy), aloo gobhi (spicy), basmati rice (large portion for price), garlic naan, and butter naan. Everything was amazing. The restaurant decor could use an update but the food quality makes it more than worth while and the chef was very friendly/welcoming.

This place is a gem for reasonably priced amazingly tasting authentic Indian cuisine. I have routinely ordered take out, and most recent have dined in. I appreciate the family atmosphere and have always been treated with genuine kindness.This is a must and honestly one of my favourite places in all of Edmonton. I am always satisfied with my experience.In addition to the food there is such a good feeling supporting such an outstanding small local family business.
