Westwinds Mobile Veterinary Services

I can not say enough good things about Westwinds Mobile Vet, they are professional, timely, caring, compassionate, respectful and friendly. This is the kind of veterinary service Prince George needs. They dropped everything to help us recently, I just don't have words - amazing doesn't cover it, there's no comparison. Hands down the best vet and tech around.

Dr McConnell has been our personal vet as well as one of our main vets for PG Animal Rescue Society for many years. She LOVES the animals and it shows. Her team at Westwinds are excellent and work so well together. Couldn’t recommend them more. ❤️❤️❤️

The vet is knowledgeable, friendly, and MOBILE! My puppy didn't even notice he was getting his shot. He had so much fun!

Not your average veterinarian. This vet practice is located in on a farm type setting. The veterinarian and her staff are extremely thorough and knowledgeable and really understood the ins and outs of working with a dogs who have histories of behavioral issues. The change of scenery was a bit off-setting at first, but in retrospect, I think a country setting like this one is beneficial to dogs who fear the typical veterinarian office.I'm sure they work alot with livestock at this practice, but I'd recommend this business for the doggos, too!

Any other vet I called, was booked until December, but they were super helpful and squeezed me into their busy schedule! Super friendly with animals and they definitely know what they're doing. Not only do they take care of the animals, but they also make sure to keep them calm and as happy as possible

The Westwinds team are so patient and kind towards my very fearful dog. They try to accommodate her the best they can and go above and beyond from what I have seen. Jenn and her team are amazing at what they do and their passion and love for animals is so evident.

If there was negative stars I would go way into the negatives. I feel like this vet has good intentions and are great with animals, however their people skills and managing are lacking extreme professionalism. They scheduled my pup for her last booster, I rescheduled the appointment, they never mentioned her final booster was time sensitive until she went to her appointment and they wouldn't give her the booster because it was 6 days passed the date she was suppose to have it by. They started that vaccine again rather then giving her that booster so now my pup has had two of the same vaccine but not her booster yet they still want to give her the booster still, as far as I'm concerned its a MONEY GRAB. If it was so important to have that booster within 6 weeks of her first dose, when I called to reschedule I should have been notified but I wasn't, then I show all the proof (emails) to the Dr in charge and she cant even be bothered to apologize she just keeps saying her staff know the protocol and they know its in the script to say boosters are time sensitive. This company is poorly managed and their organization skills do not exist. I know vets are hard to come by and I feel certain vets such as this one are taking advantage of this current vet shortage by over vaccinating, not being clear on PROTOCOLS and over charging pet parents, all pet parents want is what is best for their fur babies and not have it cost an arm and a leg for basic vaccines, but then have to pay for the same vaccine twice is just bonkers.Oh look at that reply below still no apology just more excuses, I was not offered a free appointment in any of the emails back and forth that was not mentioned at all, what was mentioned was a pet exam free of charge but still required to pay for booster. I then forwarded you my pets records from your site that say she does not require any boosters till 2024 yet you still wanted to give her more boosters???????? I had explained to you how this was confusing and provided you with ALL YOUR PAPER WORK that says shes good till 2024 but you could give me the time of day to clarify all you did was make excuses for your staff and tell me my dog still needs a booster...........DO NOT VISIT THIS VET UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME TO ARGUE WITH THEM ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT YOUR ANIMAL ACTUALLY NEEDS ANYTHING!!!!!!!! I had to get a second vet opinion sent them all the paperwork provided by west wind and they said my dog is up to date on all vaccines and boosters according to west winds records. Thank you Prince George Vet for taking the time to look at my dogs records and let me know if she needed any further boosters :)
