It’s hard to find the words to describe Jeff and Cat. Not only are talented photographers, they are truly incredible, one of a kind individuals. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and were able to capture shots/moments that would be important to us and our families. They went beyond what we thought the scope of wedding photographers were and left us speechless - in a very good way!!On the day of the wedding, we had no idea what to expect. Jeff and Cat were very adaptable to the constantly changing environments. As chaotic as it got, they blended in and positioned themselves well for every shot - despite how small the rooms were or crowded with guests.Jeff & Cat were extremely hands on, easy to work with, organized our entire wedding party for photos and made sure they were in touch with our vendors to coordinate a first look with our venue. This allowed us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about where to go next and keeping mental tabs on an already packed day. Jeff & Cat took turns to fluff my wife’s dress, hold the bouquet, manage the wedding party and still be their lovable selves! It honestly felt like another friend in the wedding party.Their perspective and vision when it comes to creating unique photos, is unlike something we’ve seen before. We love how spontaneous they can be and how they can see the beauty in every moment. Some of our favourite shots were simply walking down the street! We love them so much, we wish they partied with us at the end!! Our final gallery brought us to tears and it speaks volumes of their work.Along with our families, we’ll cherish these photos forever. Jeff and Cat are simply the best. They photographed our engagement photos and our small wedding ceremony, as well as our reception 11 months later. They are both lovely people to work with, listened to what we wanted, and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera by providing just the right amount of direction on posing. Jeff even got my very serious dad to laugh for a photo. We are so thrilled with our photos and would happily recommend Jeff & Cat to others.

Cat and Jeff are ten thousand percent the best wedding photographers in the universe! Coming over to Canada from the UK for our elopement, we knew we wanted to have every single second of our ceremony/location captured so photos were super important to us. After stalking instagram, we found The Apartment and fell so in love with their style plus their incredible reputation within the wedding community in Van! From the moment we booked them, met with them via Skype to discuss our day a bit further up until the end of our wedding shoot, they were so amazingly helpful and made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera than we ever thought possible. Coming from abroad we knew we wanted to get married at a more secluded lake but had no idea where and Cat and Jeff not only recommended the one we went with but also were so kind and scouted the area before the day so we knew exactly where we'd get the best shots. If you're looking for two incredibly talented people (who are also hilarious and have AMAZING restaurant recs) to help you document your engagement, elopement or wedding then you 100% need The Apartment Photography. We just had the wedding of our dreams and The Apartment Photography were a huge part of making the weekend a success. Jeff + Cat are two awesome people that we’d love to hang out with as pals in the future, but are also the picture of professionalism and incredibly talented. They gave us helpful advice starting from our very first meeting, went well above and beyond the call of duty in helping us pull together essential last minute details and put us at ease immediately throughout all the photoshoots. They scouted the perfect location on site for us, sent us super prompt sneak peeks and were appreciated by all our guests. Wow, words really can't express how much we loved about Jeff and Cat from the Apartment Photography. I felt so lucky that they could reschedule us from our original date and still been a part of the most magical moment of our lives.I still remembered the first time I saw Cat and Jeff's work last Summer and that was about 28 months away from our actual wedding. From that moment I knew that I need to have the Apartment Photography to be part of our wedding. Luckily, we secured these two wonderful people after our first consultation and we directly drove to a bar to celebrate after stepping out from their apartment because this really meant a lot to us from the deepest part of our hearts.They were so caring and professional on our big day and they surely made us less stressful in front of the cameras. Cat & Jeff are such an incredible duo! We received our sneak peek photos quickly after our wedding and are so impressed with how beautiful the photos came out! They were our guides throughout our wedding day making an overwhelming day manageable, so magical and memorable. Jeff and Cat are the sweetest, most creative photographers we have ever met! Not only did Jeff & Cat create the most stunning and perfect photos exceeding even my very high expectations (and I mean VERY high), but they basically saved our wedding.The day before our wedding our venue was a disaster. Jeff also helped point out some other issues. We decided to change venues the NIGHT BEFORE our wedding.Long story short, Jeff & Cat are not only the most talented photographers and editors ever, but they are the most amazing PEOPLE. We couldn't have imagined our wedding being as magical as it was without the two of them being a part of it. They guided the day and made it happen.
