Guelph Wish Fund for Children

About Us — Guelph Wish Fund for Children | Since the inception of the guelph Wish Fund for Children in 1984 .... We have received over 3 million dollars in donations from the generous community of Guelph through corporate fundraisers, small business, personal donations, memorial donations and our own Annual Spring Dance and July Golf Tournament. These funds have fulfilled the wishes of over 300 children with heart wrenching stories. Despite the memories and special moments provided for these 'kids', sadly, we know we will lose at least one child each year to their illness. Additionally, GWFC has provided monetary support of over $200,000 to the Guelph General Hospital, Hopewell Home, KidsAbility, Sunrise Equestrian, and Coping Centre. As well, the Childrens Foundation of Guelph has received $300,000 in shared proceeds from our Annual Spring Dinner and Dance. Each year we host two events ourselves, this year our Dinner and Dance at the Italian Canadian Club will be held on Saturday March 23rd. 2013, and our Golf Tournament at Victoria Park East Golf Course will be held on Saturday July 13th. 2013.
