After writing a poor review based on my experience with this business, I received a response from them in which they ended up giving me a quote for a new set of tires after I had inquired about used tires and them not having any of my vehicle's size in stock. I do appreciate the follow up to my initial review about poor customer service below, however I personally will not be getting my tires changed here. Like I said initially, I'm sure this is a great place for getting your tires done, it's just not the place for me.Original review:I'm sure this is a great place to get tires and other services done, however after emailing about tire sizes along with inquiring about a quote with running boards, I was advised they didn't have my tire size and they dont install or replace running boards - that's fine, I still asked for a quote about a new one and was not given any info on that, the information on their website was misleading regarding running boards. Unfortunately due to the poor impersonal reply I received from sales I likely won't be bringing my truck here in the future.

I discovered this shop a few years ago. I had to replace a tire with very limited funds. They were amazing at helping me out then to get me back up and running. Since then, they are my shop of choice!You are always greeted as a friend, they always try to to recommend the best option and work within your budget. Highly recommend this local shop. They care about their customers and it shows every time you go in.

I call around the city for the best prices, then I call these guys. I have yet to find more reasonably priced tire. (Okay maybe once). The guys here are pretty good. This last time I spoke to Nick.They have a decent waiting room, and they can have your tires on in about an hour.Give these guys a call if you need wheels or tires.If you're on a budget, they sell used tires as well. I've never bought used, so I can't comment on that aspect.*I had a tire repaired this morning that had a nail in it. Nick is my GO TO GUY"

I woke up to a sliced tire on a cold Monday morning. The guys at Poorboy were super accommodating to book me in and to quickly get me on the road to get on with my day. The friendly service really helped when I was almost in tears trying to deal with this first thing in the morning. I will definitely refer friends, family and business associates to these guys...awesome job ,thanks guys!!!

Took my car in for a seasonal tire swap. Received a very rude phone call from the “advisor” about my cracked rim, which I knew I had. Yelled and screamed at me about how what I did was wrong, which it was. Hung up on me. However, they went through with the tire swap, put the cracked rim on the drivers side rear as opposed to the passenger rear, which is what real technicians would do, it’s explained in trade school, trust me, and put my bent rim on the drivers front as opposed to the passenger side, which is what you learn in trade school also, trust me. Left my tire bags open, so my winters rolled out in the back seat once I started driving. While driving, I felt a nasty wobble in my pedals, pulled over, found no wheel weights on drivers front rim and a small handful of loose lug nuts. They had the audacity to yell and scream at me but then let me drive away in a vehicle that they deemed unsafe. I admit, I gave them a semi “unsafe” vehicle. But their explanation was quite over the top. A tire won’t “blow off the rim”. It’s seated on the “drop down” of the rim. It may “blow out”. But Poorboy obviously doesn’t know that. Stay away from places like Poorboy Tire. These shops are where standards are low, the techs can’t get hired at dealerships and they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Rob did a great job of providing me two used tires for my 4x4. if you want to support local and work with a business that actually cares about their customers, give them a call. Was able to replace a pair of tires, swap the spare tire for a same day appointment for 80% of the price of a single new tire from the largest well known national chain. Poorboy staff will also do things like answering your phone call and make a same day appointment which was an impossibility for said chain. Winter tire swaps and storage at reasonable prices.....Poorboy will be my first call for tires when needed next.

When I needed 235/40R19 tires for my 2018 Honda Accord Sport, the people here helped me out with a great set of Pirelli all-season tires (used) which were almost as good as new. They were priced in a very fair manner and the install and balance was done perfectly.I dealt with Nick and he had such a courteous and pleasant attitude and I highly recommend this place. All the good things you hear about this place are true jndeed.

Today my tire blew out and I phoned 9 other places that all wanted to sell me 4 new tires for my all terrain vehicle all quoting $330+/tire. I came here by friends recommendation and immediately they found me a used exact same tire with Simular wear tread and installed immediately on the spot for $110. I’m so so happy! Amazing service. Happy customer.
