Lee’s Donuts
The honey dip was amazing. But I got the jelly filled from the Langley location and there was raw dough on the inside because the donut was too big and I think it wasn’t cooked as accurately then.

Yes, this is the same Lee's Donuts you'd find inside Granville Island Public market. I think they make it there and then ship the donuts here since this one inside the mall is just a little kiosk. Still the same quality though. Not like the donuts feel dry or anything from sitting too long inside the display casing. So yea, I think they do keep the quality fresh everyday.Beware though, if you're looking for fluffy yeast donuts, these aren't it. These are more cake donuts, and I gotta say that they're one of the fluffier cake donuts out there. Don't also expect some fancier toppings or flavors like what you'd find at Lucky's, but you're also looking at half the price. I think they try to cater more to the masses so the flavor selections, while plenty, are somewhat basic.

Lee's were for many years, only available on Granville Island. I hate long lineups so I didn't bother trying them for many years. Sometime last year however, a good friend of ours delivered a box of Lee's donuts to us and I have to say that they are easily one of my favourite donut places in Vancouver now. After all these years, it seems like they are starting to branch out beyond Granville Island because I managed to snag a box of donuts from a pop-up location at Bentall Centre back in December and now there's Lee's Donuts at Willowbrook Mall in Langley, and it's a permanent location!Langley's not a place I go to often as it's a bit far out, so when I found myself shopping with a friend at Willowbrook Mall I *had* to buy a box of donuts from Lee's Donuts! There was a lineup, but it wasn't too long and it moved fairly quickly. I bought a half dozen donuts, then found a table in the food court and tried one with my daughter right away. The rest we took home so we could have them for breakfast the next day.It seemed to me like there was a bigger selection at the Willowbrook location than the Granville Island location. I felt like there were more special flavours with colourful frostings on them than at the Granville Island location. I'm quite sure that's just my ignorance talking though. I never really paid much attention to the location at Granville Island since I always got scared off by the long lineup! Granville Island's the home base...so, there's probably way more flavors over there! The first donut we tried had a bright blue frosting on it with cookie crumbles sprinkled througout. It was called Cookie Monster" and while the bright blue frosting looked a bit scary to me

I thought donuts were round? As you can see barely any filling inside. Think this location needs some quality control ..nothing like Granville island's donuts.

Lee’s Donuts
Amazing donuts, just like the ones from Granville Island! So happy they are now in Langley, even just as a pop-up shop. Hopefully, they can stick around for longer. This location is conveniently located inside Willowbrook Mall. I love their donuts and they come in a variety of flavours too! Look for them near The Bay entrance.

Lee’s Donuts
I've been a long time customer of Lee's. This locations donuts have gone downhill in quality substantially. I hope when their new storefront opens up their donuts can be made in-house to preserve the freshness (currently they're in pop up spot at willowbrook). I would recommend first-timers to avoid this location for a better/fresher first-time experience of Lee's.

Lee’s Donuts
Have been to nearly all the donut shops between Langley & Vancouver - Lee's does not disappoint. Even the now 2 day old donuts are still soft and moist and excellent.I have a major sweet tooth and I think my favourite part of Lee's is that they're not overly sweet. The powdered donut was exceptional, it was a larger, softer, much tastier version of the donuts that come in the packaging from the grocery stores. I'd go back and get a dozen of those alone.I got a bag of day old chocolate donuts and they're insanely good, even on day 3. I'm going to freeze them so that I can have donuts whenever I feel it necessary. The staff member that assisted me was very kind and I appreciated his knowledge in the product as well as his kind demeanor. Can't wait to bring my kids here to have their pick of donuts!I'd love to see an apple fritter, because I'm sure it would be incredible, and I hope to get there early enough next time to get a chocolate mint donut because they sound so so good.
