It was my first experience at CarSmart because I desperately needed an oil change and there weren’t many places open on a Sunday! I called and although they were very busy they happily accommodated my booking. I was extremely pleased with the level of professionalism, customer service, and delivery that Nathan and his team provided - it made the overall experience so easy and stress-free. They took care of my oil change in a short moment and also provided me with great consultation for my car inspection. Overall, I recommend this place as trustworthy and professional, and will be coming back here again for future services.

Great shop! Have been taking both my vehicles in for years and am always blown away at the great customer service I receive. Always above and beyond and feel I was given a fair price for the work completed The new office looks great also. It’s great to find a family run business. Dishonesty and Lies! and very clever:*Getting good reviews from cab drivers because they are in a hub and ripping off the ordinary customer*It is very unfortunate that I have to write this review on Dave. I thought he was an honest good mechanic. But after he had moved to the new garage, he changed; a rapid 180 shift, or he was like this all the time, just honest for some time to start the process. From last year what he has been doing to me is simply RIPPING OFF.I have been a regular customer of Dave since 2019. He was fixing problems appropriately. Last year he changed my Rotor. Within two months, had to change again. Then within 17k kilometres, I have to change it again. Later found out that he changed the rotor the first time, but he did not check the rear brakes and shoes. But he changed the steering rack, which could be fixed. 2nd time after my insisting, he opened the rear wheels and found the brake shoes. But he did not adjust the gears and did not add the correct pads. He gave me the warranty for the rotor on the 2nd time but charged the labour. Now 3rd time (within 8 months), the issue is back. This time I showed it to West Coast and Kartek Auto. When I showed WestCoast telling them the front rotor, they did open not only the front ones but also the rear ones. To verify, I showed it to Kartek auto as well. Both shared the same opinion. Brake rotors and pads need to be done at the same time and the right metal pad for the rotor because for heavy users like me. And all four wheels need to be done at the same time with gears adjusted. Moreover, I found that West Coast and Kartek give one year labour and parts warranty on Brake rotor+pads+shoes if done at the same time with $595+tax. He changed the steering rack, which was working fine. Moreover, he charged me for a new steering rack, where he installed a used one. Therefore, I have been ripped off by more than $900.To validate my understanding of his ethics, I have multiple points. 1) My window was not working, showed it to dave, and he asked to change the motor, which would be $500. West Coast found the window lock was on, charged me $0. 2) The signal indicator module was gone. Dave wanted to charge $450 where Collin fixed it with $30 labour and $30 module from Mitchell Island. 3) My rear door hook screw was gone, and Dave wanted to change the lock. 4) He does not any more have the skilled mechanics from the previous garage. Now most of them are beginners.For the above scenario, I am raising questions about Dave's ethics and honesty. Only reason I am not bringing him to court and make him pay is his wife. She is a nice person.

Fast, accurate, and good price for an excellent job done! Volvo could not figure out the problem with my 2017 Volvo V60. Dave was able to accurately diagnose the problem by listening to my description of what was happening with my car; he ordered the part and had my car fixed in less than 48 hours! I have known Dave - owner of CarSmart - for over thirty years and trust him 100% to service any vehicle. He is indeed highly knowledgeable and skilled.

Would not recommend. Would not trust. No attention to detail. They were one of the few mechanics that would take our camper van. We wanted to drive it to Baja so we got an inspection to make sure it could handle the trip. They knew our plans and told us it was fine to drive after the work they did. We took it to a mechanic in Portland who said it is not road safe and will not get us to Mexico. They were shocked that anyone could have thought it was fine to drive after looking at it let alone doing $3000 worth of work on it. It would have been preferable to receive this kind of honesty in Vancouver before sinking lots of money into it and putting ourselves in a dangerous situation. Not necessarily disappointed in the work they did but frustrated they did any work at all when it was not fixable.

Dave lies about what is wrong with your car. Over charge you and then blame you.The only reason they have over 4 stars is because their cabs up the review points.I had them fix my oil gasket. They said it was something rediculous. I made them fix the oil pan gasket so they did a garbage job and still charged me $350.I paid to find out they're liars. Then that they are cheats. Now I paid $300 to have it fix in one day with one visit and they were more honest and way more respectful.Don't waste your money when you can see all the cabs that will lie for them as honest shop.THEY ARE TRASH. I CALLED THEM OUT ON IT. THEY BACKED EACH OTHER TO SCREW ME OVER.

Got my vehicle serviced at Carsmart, and extremely happy. Very professional and accommodating. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

The only place I trust with my car! They are so attentive and knowledgeable. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars I’ve always felt ripped off taking my car for even the smallest repairs anywhere & I’ve never felt that way with carsmart service, if anything they try their best to save you money . Highly recommend.

My vehicle had a check engine light. I didn't know what it could be. I tried changing the windshield fluid.. I tried adding fuel. I checked the oil. It wasn't the issue. I went to this place and I was so nervous. I was nervous because if I had a check engine that would mean that my car needed some urgent service. I walked into this place and I explained the issue and they gave me an estimate and a duration it would be fixed. When I came back for my vehicle, after they serviced it, I drove it. It was certainly fixed. This place allowed me to continue to enjoy the pleasure I get from my vehicle. Everytime I push my foot on the accelerator I always think of how grateful I am that my vehicle is serviced by individuals that know what they are doing. They call this place car smart service center." I'm so certain whomever came up with that

I’ve been taking my car to Dave at Carsmart since before it was my car, and I’ll never go anywhere else. I like that I can support a local small business- a literal mom-and-pop joint- and get the service and efficiency you’d expect from a national chain. Dave and his team always provide exceptional service at really reasonable rates, Patty is the friendly face who keeps the books, and their son Nathan manages the office and keeps everyone happy. Carsmart is the only place I’ll take my baby to and I recommend them highly to everyone I know.
