Just almost got killed by one of your drivers turning onto Ellington ave E in Scarborough.Driver tried to speed ahead of us and cut us off pushing us right out of our lane. License plate # Ax52238. Completely reckless and un safe

Terrible place to work. Management are utterly useless and under constant scrutiny from the Ministry of Labor. Racist, unsafe, force drivers to go over hours. Would rate 0 starts if I could.

I started a MiniMax 1 Year ago, I found myself with “Job zone Cornwall” they offered me second career.I called MiniMax, told them I have no experience but job zone would be willing to train me if they agreed to hire me. THEY DID!I’ve been working for 1 full year with the company and I’m happy. I would recommend MiniMax to anyone looking to join a Family owned company!

Used to be a good company to work with, lately service is absolutely terrible, continuous missed pick ups, damaged goods, lost orders, late deliveries, you name it they'll mess it up. The only positive lately is that the staff is very friendly and a pleasure to speak to, and believe me you'll be speaking to them to try to locate your lost freight. I've been dealing with Minimax for almost 15 years, and after the service we've received over the last 3-6 months, I doubt there will be another 15 years...Still consistently missing appointments, all around horrendous service. They have made no changes or effort at all to fix their continuously deplorable service, and assume no liability when they screw up.

For someone in dear need of a pay check, they got hours, but being lied to in the hiring process about avg hours worked per day / schedule is lame. You can't just work 50 hours a week there. It's 13-14 hrs a day, everyday. Overtime after 60 hrs. They will remove 30 min pay for a lunch you won't have time to take.. Some very nice people work there tho. And why I give it 2 stars instead of 1.

I’d give zero stars if it were an option. This company is so unprofessional. They delivered our 6ft long, 3 in thick piece of granite literally on the road (not in the driveway). Our neighbours had to drive around it and we were left with no way to move the 500lb slab. I was told they would come and move it and then they went back on their word and said there was nothing they could do because we have a gravel driveway. The driver was so inappropriate complaining about our road and was cussing at us. When I called to complain, the operations manager told me it was a case of “he-said, she-said” and offered only excuses- no solutions. I understand that logistic challenges may arise during a delivery, but if a company does not have the appropriate equipment they should not agree to ship the product. We have built an entire house on this road, have had multiple transports down here delivering trusses, framing material, landscaping boulders etc and never once have had a driver of the same size transport complain about the quality of our road or their ability to deliver anything. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody.

Great staff. My palette was delivered on time and got lots of help loading it in my trailer from the boys in the warehouse. Great job and friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing. Always love dealing with everyone at Minimax. From the drivers to dispatch they always go above and beyond and are friendly and easy to understand over the phone as well. Our freight forwarder now knows that we will only deal with Minimax for transporting from the Port of Montreal to our Business. We've dealt with other companies and had such horrible experiences, Minimax has been nothing but incredible to work with.

Company sends the wrong size truck then then behaves rudely. Salesperson is good only till they sign contract. NOT the preferred company to work with. In Cornwall region we have Minimax and Seaway. I have worked with both and found the service of Seaway much better. Please avoid these guys. I am sure with the kind of customer service they offer, their days are limited.

Company sends the wrong size truck then now is blocking the roadway and the assclown driver gets all hostile and screaming absentees when he was asked to move the truck then even made hostile threats because his truck is blocking the roadway and causing a safety risk
